Just two months in and I am enjoying the sessions. Like so many I have played a bit off and on over the years but never really devoted enough time to truly improve beyond the novice level. I really enjoy being challenged with the lessons as well as how they can be applied in different songs. This months finger picking style has especially been enjoyable and I’m looking forward to future lessons as well as learning dongs as well.

I’ve been following Tony’s teaching method since day one, and now on day 57, I can confidently say this has been a life-changing experience. I started with zero guitar skills, and thanks to his approach, I’m now playing scales, licks, and chords that I never imagined I could master!

One unexpected bonus? Learning guitar has even helped my training as a long-distance runner! The rhythm and cadence of my pace often match the strumming and picking patterns I’ve been practicing. It’s amazing how the neuroscience of music ties everything together.

Tony’s approach of conceptualizing having FUN every time you pick up the guitar is perfect, even scientifically! Children learn through things that are FUN. Children experience their world through having and seeking FUN! Adults are not fundamentally different in this. So, with achievement anxiety put aside, IT IS FUN! Also, I’m learning. I look forward to to advancing, but I don’t pressure myself about it. I’ve only been doing it for a week and have learned some new things. The price is not cheap but worth it. I had accumulated soooo many guitar learning resources…that I never used and from which I got nothing. The process is sound. Go for it!

I out guitar on the side line while raising kids and building a business. The kids are gone and I sold the business, so I am dusting off the guitars. I know many chords and can change smoothly. I am working on dexterity and building back callouses. I love your common sense approach to learning guitar and the every day approach to practice. I try to perfect the techniques before moving on. I look forward to following you through the process.

As an ex-goalie, I had to start this class!:). That said, it has far surpassed my expectations. Like most guitar lessons, my first teacher only taught a few chords and then focused on songs and rhythm... a hard way to truly learn. I love this program because I can feel my fingers getting faster, my bar chords sound better, and my chord switching improving dramatically. Enjoying the guitar daily for the first time in years. I'm probably a little slower than most when it comes to learning, so I repeat lessons when necessary, but that's the beauty: it's like a choose-your-own-adventure once you are through the first 30 days!
