I’ve learned a lot, in the first couple of months, with the tac system of learning guitar. Tony breaks everything down and does it slow enough, that even I can keep up with it. It’s nice to actually play songs and riffs, while learning proper technique. I’ve tried, private lessons, books, YouTube and none of them, helped me progress, like Tony has. I thought I’d never be able to play guitar and actually gave up, until I found this site. I can actually play a couple of songs now and all I want to do is play my guitar! I still have a long journey ahead of me, but at least it’s a fun journey now, and not just a tedious task, that I have to get through.

Tony's method of teaching is perfect for me. I like the upward circular arc of the lessons and the fact we revisit some of the more difficult techniques periodically. It is always exciting to me when I recognize an improvement! I have given up the need to be perfect and just enjoy the moment and I have made significant improvements. I take it at my own pace and don't feel guilty if I'm not as good as I think I should be. First I play the guitar for me and I don't have to be perfect to have fun.

I'm an older forever beginner, I've even tried one on one lessons and various u-tube things with no success. With Tony's method I am making much more progress and personal satisfaction is way up. I have only been a member for a month but can see positive progress and feel I can finally be a guitar player some day! 5 stars from me. Thanks

I joined Tony's Acoustic Challenge in February 2020 and it changed my guitar journey forever.Prior to joining, I'd fallen out of love with guitar; it's the total opposite now.I love the daily challenges, which help all the aspects of my playing improve steadily, in addition to making me enjoy learning new songs, something I'd lost interest in. I even re-ignited my G.A.S, too!I sometimes get lazy or am unmotivated, but it's TAC that brings me back into line. When I finish a lesson, I do so knowing I'm not only keeping my guitar journey alive, but I'm improving little by little.Simply put, without Tony's Acoustic Challenge, I'd have given up guitar in 2020!

I continue to be amazed at the process of being exposed to a “bunch of little steps” and being able to recall them later. It is not always repetitive practice that wins the day, but in the small teaching moments where I see the progress.

I'm in my 70s and have never played a musical instrument. I thought I'd pick up a guitar when I retire and tried different approaches but nothing worked. When I saw Tony's video on FB, I decided to give it one more try. I've been in the TAC for one week now and for the first time I feel like I can make it. I love Tony's approach and the simplified, logical lessons and his encouraging emails and videos. I plan to become a good guitar player.
