I researched and checked out multiple online guitar lessons and never found one that actually met my expectations. I took a chance that Tony’s Acoustic Challenge was different, and my gamble proved to be the best decision I could have made. I’m only in my second week, but I have found an understanding and enjoyment that I never found with other platforms. I’m 67 years old and just starting, but for the first time, I really believe that I am a musician and a guitar player.Thank you Tony. Without your talent my guitar would still be drying up in its case.

Tony the encouragement you give with each challenge is exactly what I needed.I received my first guitar when I was 9 or 10 . Took lessons in my late teens ,but never felt like I could keep up(my dad played all of his life)with a period of over 30 years not even owning a guitar.Recently I got back one of my guitars I bought new.My dad had saved it for me using it in jam sessions with friends. So after some time of reflection and plinking I came across Tony's Acoustic Challenge online. After multiple searches of many sites one thing stuck with me that Tony said and stressed ENJOY it.My dad enjoyed playing for almost 70 years from sing a longs with my siblings in the livingroom to playing with some of the greats in Bluegrass.Tony lets me know with each challenge it doesn't have to perfect and you may not get it the first, second or even the third time around and that's okay have fun and enjoy it.As for my progress in the first eight week or so I have gone from 5-10 minutes of playing a few c

Fun, comprehensive but not overwhelming, able to progress at your own pace, tony seems like a good guy.

I was the typical guitar dabbler for the past 25 years. Learned a few chords and did some finger picking, Then I bought a beautiful Martin D28 about 2 years ago. Started playing using a book written by a very religious classical guitar player. All the practice songs were hymns. Just not into that. Love Tony's style of teaching & using more contemporary music. So far, so good.

I love Tony’s presentations. I’m picking up the guitar after almost 50 years, so it’s a slow process and I’ve had to re-listen a few times. But the encouragement and explanations are excellent.

After a very long absence - around 30 years I decided I wanted to play guitar again. To say I'm struggling would be an understatement but I am making progress. I'll be 75 in May so getting my fingers to do what they used to is going to take some time and I am not one to give up.The lessons are great, one question when do I mark a lesson complete? I get to the point where I can do the exercise pretty consistently but nowhere close to the speed it should be. I know you say the speed will come so should I mark the lesson complete when I can play the lesson consistently?I haven't had the time to devote to this like I wanted but am going to adopt your mini habit to get at least 10-20 minutes of practice everyday.I would recommend your course to anyone wanting to re-learn or learn to play for the first time.Sam
