I was hesitant to join TAC again as I had join a few years ago, but at that time I wasn't really ready. After one weeknow, I feel as though I understand better why mechanics and timing are important. I am wondering however how I am supposed to put it all together to actually play the song we are learning all the way through. I do enjoy the instructions on a daily basis rather than all crammed into one lesson.

I am in my second year and the lessons are the same as the first year. I love the lessons, but wish there were mire new Ones.

I've had a guitar for about 30 years and attempted to play a few times during that time, but I consider myself new to playing because it's been over 20 years since I've touch my guitar, and I had not learned much anyway. I really like this program and I am seeing progress every week. I just completed the 30 Day Challenge and the 5 Day Routine, and I'm definitely further ahead than I've ever been. I do like trying something new every week as it keeps things interesting. I'm focusing on the little improvements to keep me going. Time will tell how things will be in a few months.

Love the program, unfortunately it's taking me longer to progress due to my arthritis. I had taken lessons decades ago and basically forgot most of it, I'm determined to get back to it, thanks Tony

So I give you five stars in spite of the ugly hockey jersey. I'm 71, and have been playing for almost 2 years with no real previous background in music. I have both electric and acoustic guitars (and a ukulele, a sort of like/hate thing going on there). I've had a lot of good experiences with several online lessons resources (Justin, Andy, Lauren, etc.), but decided to try TAC a couple months ago. I'm pretty happy with your approach--taking one song and working on that as a theme for the week's exercises with a different focus each day. It keeps me interested by introducing new skills (some of which I can actually perform) and reinforces previous lessons in a way that helps to refine skills and not just add things to a list of stuff I can't really grasp just yet. I find that I am actually picking up some new skills pretty rapidly compared to my earlier efforts. One complaint: I could do without all the motivational speaking--I'm pretty committed without it.

I can't recall if I've left a review prior to this one or not, but after experiencing TAC for a couple months now, I wanted to share my appreciation. What I really love about TAC is that it keeps me coming back for small daily doses. I wake up each of the 5 weekly challenge days wondering what that day's challenge is going to entail, knowing that whether it's easy or hard for me, I will learn something fun and new, and I will make some form of progress as a guitar player.Just picking up my guitar on a daily basis and expanding my comfort zone has already made me a lot more confident in my ability to learn and grow.I think TAC is a fit for players at just about any level... from beginner to those who are looking to advance beyond just playing some basic chords and picking/strumming songs. I have no doubt that the TAC method will keep me engaged and coming back for more, and when I look back a year from now, I will have come a very long way in my guitar
