I've taken other guitar courses before and this is the best by far. This course keeps you engaged and progressing.

Hi Tony, love this course so far. I really like the laid back approach to the lessons. Currently stuck on week 1 getting finger tips hardened up to play blues shuffle exercise. Can’t play it clearly yet but I will get it.

I’ve just finished my first week of the 30 day challenge and I have to say I’m impressed. I took lessons from a great guitar instructor out of state via FaceTime for about three years. My problem, which Tony mentions in the introduction to this, is I’m a perfectionist and I also felt I was up against a deadline to learn the lesson between sessions. When it would come time for the next lesson I would sometimes freeze because I was trying too hard. My instructor was great and would try to convince me how far I had come but I never got comfortable and I put the guitar down for nearly a year. Tony’s program allows me to go at my own speed and I feel I have made very good progress in just a week. I’m really excited to see where this takes me in my guitar learning journey

Good morning, Happy New Year! I enjoy what you’re teaching and sharing. I play at least 10-20 minutes per day. What I’ve done to facilitate my playing is: instead of replaying the video a million times for each new note, I listen to you, and handwrite the string played, the fret, and stroke pattern with either an up or down arrow! It’s all there in front of me…I practice that, and then I’ll go back to the video, and focus more on how your hand and fingers move, and other subtle things I can’t take in, when I’m busy just getting the basics. I pick up the patterns, easy to remember what I see on my little spreadsheet..it is a lot right now, and the tips of my fingers are getting tougher….

I joined over a week ago -- I've watched my guitar collect dust for years and decided that TAC would help start a consistent practice routine for me. I flew through the 30-day content quickly because I wanted to do the 5-day challenge before the New Year and start in with the weekly challenges this week. I definitely liked the 5-day challenges, so as an indication of what's to come, I'm quite excited.

After watching my beautiful Gibson Hummingbird sit on the wall along with my Les Paul I decided it was finally time to get more serious. I know the basics so went through the 30 days in a week - but I did make a concentrated effort to not skip any basics and found some new techniques / tactics that I haven’t used in the past - so that was good. I am now on the 5 day. What has been more than helpful is the “pick it up for a least 10 minutes every day” rule. That is developing a better habit and routine - and today I found myself running through the strings for a couple of hours. I am looking forward to how the course progresses - but for the time being I would highly recommend it to beginners or those “getting back in”.
