Oh MY Goodness. When I tried to learn guitar before, it was get a chord book. The C Chord was really hard for my fingers. But just finished the G, C and D chord issue on the 30 Days to Play, or whatever it is called. I got rid of my acoustic when we moved and kept my electric. Can't wait to get an acoustic now. But anyway, that was just a mind altering change when you said when changing chords from G to C, to use a finger anchor. While I am still slow at it, it was a game changer. And going from G to D and vice versa, that was so good since I don't have to move the ring finger either. Plus I really love the way you started everything out by "finger plucking" first and playing the strings. That was well thought out. First play low E and fretting A, them moving down the strings towards high E. That was so good. And then the power chords, where I am at now. I am a Guitar player! Looking forward to the new things that are coming down the pipe and I am just in the intro 30 days to play.

Tony has designed a course that is easy to learn and fun! Instead of practicing chords or scales over and over he includes a riff or fun lick to practice to make you feel more like a guitar player. There is work….. but it’s finally fun.

I've been a strummer/singer for a while and have been trying to move to the next level. These lessons are great for that. This is already expanding my skills and I'm really enjoying it. Better than any other lessons I've taken. Thanks.

Been a member for a couple of months and although my progress has been slow (my issue, not the instruction), I am enjoying picking up the guitar and practicing. Looking to commit additional time over the next several months. Love the instruction and basic approach.

Honestly, I’ve been “tinkering” with my guitars for about 50 years. I absolutely love acoustic guitar! In my retirement, I saw Tony’s approach on-line and as an opportunity to become more technically familiar with my guitars. I’d like to play out and so I’m following his lessons in order to do so. I’ve played hundreds of guitar tabs but not seriously enough to play them cleanly!

Way better than the two instructors I was the student of, some 20 years ago! From the get go, you are introduced to strumming and picking techniques, along with songs and scales! The other teachers I had , just taught a lick here and there and chords, or up down picking on ascending or descending strings at $50 and hour. I'm not always 5 to 7 days a week, but I keep coming back. I really loved starting to learn Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Home"! I just need to figure out how to get back to those lessons. Thanks Tony!
