i have tried over the years to learn guitar with absolutely no success. With this program i actually look forward to picking up this instrument and so far so good I am wondering if I am missing something ie. in the lesson on G chord you say you will count us down from 5 - then 3 - then one - however in the play portion only the 5 count down occurs Also in the boogie lessons we learn the 3 locations for the pattern - I was expecting putting the locations together to perhaps create a song but that does not occur Am i missing something?

TAC has been a helpful guitar lesson process for advancing my guitar skills. I would not recommend this whatsoever to a beginner, there are other lesson sites that specialize on building the foundations of open chords, timing and strumming, etc. I’d say this is great for anyone 6-12 months into their journey, or even well beyond that, as the daily challenges introduce all sorts of new techniques and playing styles in a fun and informative way. Great lesson approach for learning to continue building upon your guitar skills and playing repertoire.

To answer all of your questions regarding TAC, Tony....Here are my answers...I was a little hesitant to sign up because I wondered, will I be able to navigate the site easily, and what can I possibly learn in just 10 minutes a day? I decided to take a chance because of that challenge and I was pleasantly surprised! That 10 minutes a day challenge covers all the basic and more. Each day offers a different doable exercise that is simply explained and clearly demonstrated.I love the encouragement of that 10 minute a day commitment that almost always turns into many more minutes of playing. And it is fun and very motivating!I think Tony's program is perfect for the beginner because of its simplicity, especially in the 30 days to play, Also great for the experienced player because of the variety of classes. Many different techniques, ie.. flat picking, chord progressions, little nuances in playing to experiment with, rhythm, soloing and improvising and so muc

I have to admit that your style and lesson plan is very helpful for me. I used to play guitar but have not played in 30 years, so almost everything I once knew is forgotten. I have to admit that I am a couple weeks behind, ( I took a vacation and didnt take the guitar with me) but I like the menu being there on the left side so I can pick up where I left off when I can. The good news is that I can and do work on it 10-15 minutes a day, the bad news is I really need an hour or more to keep up. But hey- progress, not perfection.
