I think that the format that Tony uses is very good. I like that he explains the lesson and then you can play along with the fret hand and the strumming hand. I started playing the D chord and it did not sound right. So, I carefully watched the strumming hand and noticed that the D string was being played. The weekly challenges really engage you to play something you most likely would not in a typical lesson and it gets your fingers moving around on the fret and works on your string picking as well. The hesitation to sign up was the commitment needed to progress, which I am still finding that difficult at times. Simply because we have a lot of renovations going on at our house. Plan to be more consistent this month. When I first started, I watch the video on how to hold the guitar. I still am having some challenges with that. Seems that the neck keeps moving forward but i think it is my strumming arm position not positioned correctly.Encouragement is a

TAC has given me hope in achieving one of my accomplishments I’ve had for years! That of course, being able to play the guitar in front of family and friends. Though I’m still months away from achieving this goal, TAC has given me the ability to see the light at the end of the tunnel. My calluses are developing nicely (after a few early injuries from doing to much too soon) thereby giving me the ability to play the necessary chords. As well as getting my fretting fingers to play these chords clearly-which is still a work in progress-but I’m able to see my progression developing. Thank you Tony!

Great lessons. Makes me play more and more often. Also inspired me to buy a better guitar.

Over the past couple of years, I have signed up for so many online guitar courses and have bought nearly every "guitar for beginners" book available ... and I struggle to get past the first few lessons and ultimately give up. With TAC, I'm having so much fun (as promised) and in just the first week I feel that I'm learning how to actually play my guitar. Most of all, I find myself looking forward to picking up my guitar again to see what's next! Thanks Tony!

Believe this helps a lot with consistent practice. Have enjoyed reference to songs like Wagon Wheel and Paint it Black mixed in with the practice

Every challenge opens up a style! Want to play all the time. Not stuck on the same riffs! Love it!
