I originally joined TAC in 2018 and stayed for 2 years, as a total beginner at that time (still learning) I would practice all the daily challenges, not to perfection by any means, but until I understood them. But here is the rub, I made progress in physically playing guitar, but I could not play a song, didn’t know how to incorporate the essential skills into actually being musical. I tried Jazz (because I liked it, but it was way too difficult), I tried Lead Guitar with GMM, although I learned much more and became more comfortable in practicing, it was not for me. So, I came back to Tony’s Acoustic Challenge and I can see the benefit of incorporating the basic essential skills with learning a tune / song. Looking forward a successful year of learning. Just need to try and remember the songs / tunes that I learn as I can practice until I’m satisfied with the result, feel good about it and days later it’s all blank, however recall is much faster, suppose I’m not playing enough imbed it
