I was given my first guitar in 1985. Though I've tried multiple times to pick it up, including spending hundreds of dollars on lessons, I've yet to be able to just play. I've never even attempted to pick. My only attempts have been chord strumming and finger style. Now, with the first week of the TAC 30 Day Challenge, I am able to pick through all three of the blues pieces, and at a decent pace. Such an encouragement to keep going and improving!

I have been a member of TAC since 2016. Started at age 59 having never played an instrument before. Periodically I drift away, looking for that magic bullet that will turn me into a “real player” but I always come back to Tony. His formula works. His method of teaching HAS made me a “real player”. I always know that when I stick to his lessons I make progress. I always know that I learn something new every time I tune into a practice session with him. I will always be here because it is fun and I can continue to develop my skills just by dedicating time each day to a TAC lesson. Guitar Geeks Unite

I have been playing guitar on and off for most of my life which is currently at 70 years. But after my first week on TAC, I find that I am already learning new things that have taken me out of the rut of the same old chords and strumming patterns. Can't wait to see the results after the first year!

I think today was day #239 and I am in Portland. I flew down from Juneau Alaska yesterday and brought a new (to me) guitar; 2009 Gibson Studio which I picked up a couple of weeks ago. I'm staying at a great B&B and playing for hours. TAC has helped me through many challenges I have faced this year. It has been an inspiration, some frustration, but a definite lifeline to not only thriving but Flourishing! I have shared my journey with many others and encourage everyone to live their best version of themselves. I'd like to give a couple Shout-outs: Danno in Laramie WY, The Greater Alexander in Detroit MI. and Madison Hughes in Nashville! Thanks for joining on my pathway! Thanks for everything Tony, and when I come to Bozeman next year I'd like to see you.Tom

It's true that it takes not a lot of time every day to see improvement on guitar with this course. Tony's approach is science-based and his casual but professional manner is appreciated by me. Thank you, Tony!

Starting from scratch at age 64, I wasn't sure what to expect. I went through what I'm sure are the usual frustrations of starting something new. But after almost 2 years, I'm finding that I have learned quite a lot. While I'm not ready to go out on the road, I really feel that I'm getting it and theory is starting to make a lot more sense.Tony is a great teacher. He explains things well, remembers the frustration of learning, and is very encouraging to his TAC family. He takes the time to impress upon us that if you don't get something right away, it's OK. It takes time and it will come.I won't be going anywhere else for lessons any time soon. Thanks, Tony!!
