Started TAC Jan 1 2024! I'd been hesitant to sign up after a friend recommended it several years ago. I was worried it may be too advanced until I became more experienced. For me, I was right to wait until I had some basics down. I believe a complete beginner would be overwhelmed. What made me finally decide I was ready? I'd reached a place where I felt it was no longer easy to learn new skills. I would sit and play mostly the same things over and over which was somewhat helpful with improving skills I'd already learned. But I was lacking the motivation to research what to do next. This program makes that part easy! Tony has done all the work coming up with and presenting new skills to learn every day! All I need to do is watch, learn, and play.I'm not at a level where everything comes easy. I still struggle with a lot but I have felt like I'm making advances even at times when I'm unable to complete each day's challenge. Like Tony says, each little thing learned

I started to learn guitar a couple of years ago when I retired and have been taking lessons every week with an instructor. It’s been a couple of months since I started TAC and it has taught me skills that my instructor so far hasn't taught me - so thank you TAC! Plus, I am ironing out some bad habits with my fretting technique but still struggling a little with speed and string accuracy but, so far I am loving it and it’s well worth the money!

I am picking up my guitar for the first time in over 40 years and just in the fist weeks, I am really pleased with everything that I have experienced in the program. I really enjoy Tony's teaching style, very supportive but not condescending. I am supplementing online with weekly in person classes locally and this program gives me new things to work on at each of my in person classes.

So far its been 7 days since I started. It was overwhelming at first but I did sit every day and would practice till I got frustrated and would then again later try again and it has gotten much easier. I am feeling more confident that I will eventually learn and play songs.

The money-back guarantee made me willing to try TAC. So many other online sites promise to teach guitar but just talk or show riffs that are way too hard. As a beginner, I found TAC's 30 Days to Play a great intro. Tony's enthusiasm and encouragement to just play for at least ten minutes every day really helped me get started. Now the Daily Challenges present something new every day for me to try. They are often too hard for me, but then when I go back a few days later I find I learned a lot from each one. Because there is a new lesson every weekday, I keep learning and adding to my guitar repertoire. And it's FUN!!!

i have tried over the years to learn guitar with absolutely no success. With this program i actually look forward to picking up this instrument and so far so good I am wondering if I am missing something ie. in the lesson on G chord you say you will count us down from 5 - then 3 - then one - however in the play portion only the 5 count down occurs Also in the boogie lessons we learn the 3 locations for the pattern - I was expecting putting the locations together to perhaps create a song but that does not occur Am i missing something?
