This is at least the 5th time I have "seriously" tried to learn guitar. As a lifelong keyboard (piano) player, my musical ambitions have centered around that and my plate is full with composing and recording. But after finding Tony's TAC course I have finally gotten over the hump and am finding that I, too, can learn faster than I ever thought possible. Calluses forming nicely, too!

I was a little hesitant to start TAC because I’ve been playing over 30 years and have been focusing on electric guitar. I tried another online educational platform, and it was geared too much towards heavy-metal and it’s not what I wanted to do. I’ve been using TAC for two months now, and was concerned that I might not get out a lot out of it because I’m fairly experienced, but it has benefited me. It helps me focus a lot on some of the basics, and strengthens my fingers and my dexterity, and gives me ways to do some things that I’ve never done before. For example, I always have had a problem with strumming rhythms, especially when there are dead notes and I’ve gotten a lot better doing that. I like that the daily challenges use one song for the week by breaking it down into the five areas of focus. I do think TAC is best for beginning guitarists, but even advanced-intermediate folks can get a lot from it.

I have only started 1 week ago but am very impressed. It seems like Tony incorporated finger movement in an easy exercize that sounds good. I seem to be building up control of my fingers and strength in my hand. So far I am super impressed for the first week.
