First off, this is the best guitar course on the market. I took three other in person courses and all they did was get my money. They were half hour courses and what can you retain in that amount of time. I'm probably one of the oldest guys, 75, taking this course but as you get old, if you don't use that brain, it slowly goes to sleep on you. When I started this, I had a buzz in my "A" string and after fighting that I found out it was how i fretted. On the Blues shuffle I can play along With Tony but after printing a hard copy and trying to read the tab, I get a little mixed up. Just have to get my brain shifted to a higher gear. Two words a guitar player should never use are I CAN'T or I WON'T....

It's good to revisit fundamentals and have a more structured approach to learning. So we'll see where this goes as I'm justing moving from the 5-day to the regular challenges. Unfortunately, being on an older MacBook running 10.13 and using Chrome I don't have the video 'pop-out' feature that would allow for an overlay while viewing the tab. I would also probably benefit from the Fretboard Wizard. But being a senior on a fixed income the price is not affordable for me. On a non-related note I miss Tony's guitar reviews as his review of the Gibson J-15 was one of the reasons I got one.

I started with TAC about 8 weeks ago, been playing my guitar pretty regularly for the last 5 years, took in person lessons, YouTube lessons etc but I didn't seem to be progressing as much as I thought I should be for the amount of time I had been putting in. I have mostly been playing my electric guitar the past few years, but /I also enjoy the sounds/songs on the acoustic so I joined TAC no regrets so far. I really enjoy the teaching format, and the way it repeats each week with a different song can be challenging but I am seeing progress. I think TAC is good for any beginner to intermediate level player,

It's been over 35 years since I've played guitar. Tony's 30-days to Play is a good approach. "Progress not Perfection' and recording that progress makes it doable, fun, and keeps me coming back. He gives a concrete method for engaging at my level of commitment that is working. I've learned things in the first week that I never learned. My stiff, weak fingers are limbering up and getting stronger daily. The notes are sounding better every day. I'm having fun and feeling successful.

I have loved my experience with TAC thus far. A little background on my situation and experience. I took In person lessons when I was 15 years old for a couple months but never really gave guitar the attention and dedication it deserved and required to cross the beginning hurdles. Now, 17 years later, I’ve always regretted not sticking with it earlier and decided to buy a guitar and take a different approach on learning to play. Now, three months in, I’m leaps and bounds further than I ever got when I was younger taking in person lessons. The TAC 30 days to play paved the road to getting a steady routine together and teaching some fun rhythms and techniques that gave me a foundation to branch over into the daily challenges. Tony’s teaching approach is very informative and he does a great job of explaining the overall goal of the lesson itself. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Either starting from scratch or honing in their technique. Great product, great teacher. Thank you!
