I purchased a guitar for my 50th birthday and tried numerous times to learn to play. I was using books, self taught DVD’s, internet courses but nothing seemed to work for me. I would get frustrated and the guitar would sit in the corner for month’s/years at a time. I saw Tony’s ad on utube a week ago and something clicked right away. I watched the video and joined. I’ve now been playing every day for just over a week and I think I have progressed further than at anytime I tried before. The content, messaging, teaching style all works for me and I am looking forward to finally following through and learning to play this great instrument. One week in and I’m excited every day to pick up the guitar, practice and get just a little better and to challenge myself to start that next lesson.

So far so good. Life gets in the way. Now guitar is part of life. My dog doesn't run away when I practise. I am enjoying the lessons. Nicely broken down for this beginner. Thanks Tony.

Hey AllIt took me nearly two years before I signed up to Tony's Acoustic challenge. I enjoyed the emails (I had Googled online guitar courses and clicked around The Acoustic Challenge website plus left my email) - but was nervous about signing up. What if I couldn't play at all? I finally took the plunge and signed up 2 months ago - I have improved, for real, I can play guitar! The teaching style is great, the bite-sized skills work well and I can cope with that in a busy life. And...Tony is right. Once the skills improve even a tiny amount, I want to play more. And that's the secret - switching on the habit and then the motivation. Using gaming principles works a dream, I can see that in the course design. Well done Tony and Team - you have nailed online education.

One week in, missed only one day so far. I am feeling excited, challenged and only a wee bit overwhelmed. Traveling with my Traveler Guitar and actually using it. I have learned so much this past week and doing my best to do it without getting hung up on perfection. Bite-sized chunks, humour and accessibility are making this a joy. Thanks, Tony!

TAC is a great way to get some structure and regularity into my guitar playing. It gives me the backing track, sheet music and video to follow each day. All what I need, and all in the comfort from my study.
