I have been doing Tony's Acoustic Challenge for 3 years and I love it. Since I was a teenager I've always had a guitar but never really got much beyond strumming chords to familiar songs. Since joining TAC my skills and knowledge have increased dramatically. I'm playing a lot more and have improved considerably. TAC has also improved and I love the new format of applying specific skills to a song.

I like the lessons, they are very well planned, with a great mixture of stuff we need to learn, and an excellent variety of music. I find most of them a little too easy, but still valuable techniques. In the song vault, I would like to find some more difficult material.

Only a week in and I am loving it....no more drills and grinding practice. Learn something new every challenge and continue to build and add during the week.

Today marks day 300 for playing sessions! I love how the 5 day challenges lay side by side with the Fret Board Wizard. My mind is blown away when I reflect back to day one week one, 30 day challenge. No more blistery sore fingers, some day's especially on Improvisation Wed. I end up playing for hours! On weekends I sometimes loose track of time. Even my wife will come in the room and say, WOW that sounds good. Thank you Tony and TAC family for helping me to build a strong foundation and a love relationship with playing guitar. I would of never been able to get this far without Tony and TAC support! MOMENTUMOVERMASTERINGRodneyAKA: outdoorgater

I have been a TAC member for a number of years, but my participation has been sporadic. It was nice getting some experience with different techniques and getting some experience playing all over the fretboard. But, I couldn't seem to really "learn" the various runs, rifts, etc., for more than the week it was part of our practice, and my enthusiasm was up and down. It all seemed sort of "disconnected" to me. Now, I just "tuned back in", in October, 2023, when my membership automatically renewed. I discovered the approach has evolved to learning parts of a real song throughout the week, and being able to play that song by the end of the week. The songs chosen for October and November have been great songs, classics, and I look forward everyday to logging in and learning the new lesson for the day! Life still gets in the way sometimes for logging in every day, but I have been able to catch up on the weekends. I am really enjoying TAC now!

I am a 3 1/2 year TAC member. I started in May 2020 after the pandemic shut down all sports, live music, and fun of every description. I bought a guitar after my first son was born and had a year of lessons, that led to pretty much nowhere. TAC's daily challenge structure is they key to success. Having to follow a daily script makes you want to plug in and keep going. Tony's goofy, hockey-infused instructional manner keeps things lively. He is a gifted instructor, and there are very few of those on the internet based instructional vids available. Fretboard Wizard then took things to a whole other level. My guitar journey has leaped ahead and while there is a way to go yet, my mindset is now unchangeable. On we go till I can play "Little Martha". :) Cheers to all
