I have about 10 different books on how to play guitar and it was overwhelming and more like work than play.
TAC seems more about having fun , relaxing and just enjoying playing the guitar.

What helps me is that Tony obviously put a lot of Erin his instructions & explanation of each lesson. Because of that I feel an added responsibility to him to put the time in. I’m a pro golf instructor and I know the results when u practice more importantly when u don’t. I have played my guitar much more since I signed up!! Really enjoying this!!!

I can honestly say I have learnt in 3 weeks what I couldn't learn in 2 years on my own. I was lost following all these free websites. Now, I pick up my guitar, login to TAC site, and follow the plan, or practice what I have learnt. no more wasting time and not feeling like I'm not going anywhere.
So glad I joined, and hope this time next year, I can play some cool songs.

I joined the Acoustic Challenge in hopes of getting past just playing guitar as an advanced novice and learning new things to improve skills. Tony's lesson open a variety of new concepts from Open D tuning to new riffs, slides etc. I am going to sign up for the fretboard lessons after Christmas. Tony, your teaching skills are wonderful, you take a complicated piece of music that I normally would skip over and chop it up into bite sized pieces. The old adage, how do you eat an elephant……one bite at a time, rings true.

Love it so far. I’m still working in the finger exercise as I can quite get my pinky stretched out far enough to hit the fourth fret but enjoying so far. I’m breaking away to go to other exercises then coming back so I don’t get bored.
