This course is wonderful! Louis takes you beyond technical skills - you learn not just "What" to do, but also the "Why". It's chock-full of tips, tricks, and more helpful insights. I became so inspired that I found myself doodling away with the techniques he teaches - hours and hours of play and delight. I will definitely take concepts he teaches with me as I continue my "Blender journey" and very much appreciated the personal attention I received from him and the CG Boost team and community. Strongly recommend, especially for intermediate Blender-ers.

In this course you will be put to the test, you will learn through a vertical path, to model hard-surface surfaces, apply fantastic materials on your models to rig, and finally animate your robotic creatures. I really appreciated this course because at the end of the "mountain" I looked behind me and saw all the things I was able to learn. Louis with great academic mastery makes you enter more and more deeply into the intricacies of Blender arousing curiosity and tenacity. I recommend it to all those who really want to learn!

I'd like Louis Du Mont to teach more or add more content to the course, but not in the form of breakdowns. I wouldn't mind if that increased the price of the course, as long as I keep learning from him, since he's a great teacher. I'd also appreciate more resources to help create our own projects, as I felt the course was a bit lacking in that area.

Very good course indeed. Not my first one with CGBoost Academy and always the same quality!Just a comment about Blender version(s). It's quite challenging to make the transition from the course's version and the one I use especially for rendering the bot's lens with Eevee or Cycles where properties are not anymore at the same place or even existing.Anyway I loved to create this robots zoo ;-)))Jean-Luc from Belgium

Lots of fun. Great course. You can tell he put a lot of time into figuring it all out. Also shows things you don't normally come across. The only suggestion would be to do some sounds in the video editor to liven it up at the end. All the student/instructor comments on the web page were very helpful for dealing with the version issues. Thanks.

This is a very cool course. I learned so much while creating the basic bot. I've been able to immediately apply some of the knowledge to my own projects with much-improved results. I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to use an older version of Blender, which is fine (I actually prefer 3.6) but it doesn't help me to get used to the changes that are coming rapid-fire these days. Otherwise, this was exactly what I needed.
