I don't think I would have gotten as comfortable with Substance Painter so fast without a course like this. The step-by-step, organic delivery of the teachings Martin gives, offers a casual atmosphere that belies the comprehensive quality of these lessons. Martin takes us through more than one workflow, through his own mistakes and his solutions, which gives a more human approach that is missing from a lot of these courses. The only thing I would have liked more of in these courses is perhaps a little more background and maybe examples of practical uses for certain techniques. For example, not just knowing how to add LUTs to Substance Painter, but why we should or would want to. But I'm just nit-picking here. This course would get 6 stars out of 5!

I have zero regrets for taking this course. It put me on my way efficiently. I've learned so much with the workflow presented and came up with my own workflow that matched what I like to create. It's very informative, highly organized and full of essential and important information. It deserves 5 stars for sure.

Before I took this class, I previously took a Substance Painter class offered by a YouTuber. But I couldn't paint my model in Substance. I was lacking knowledge for how to prepare the model before importing, and Martin clearly explained in detail. My questions were answered very quickly, and it helped learning very smooth. Thank you, finally I feel like I can use Substance Painter without frustration!

I've scoured the internet for a good Substance Painter class, and this class is it. This class is thorough, and so much thought has been put into building up your understanding and giving you a solid education in SP, not just giving you another fun project to play with. I can't thank the instructors enough for the work they put into this class. I'm now able to apply these concepts in my own work. You guys rock!
