Being April, I came here with a new ambition for the financial year, get fitter while being tax efficient. Yes I came because of the incentive of tax free cycling through the cycle to work scheme.
At first I didn't consider Trek bikes, however, after talking to Nathan from head office (met at a function) he gave me enough pause to look at Trek bikes.
Being coming off a full sus, i wanted a hard tail I saw a load of reviews of the Pro-Calibre and fancied a ride myself. So I went down to the store in Milton Keynes. There they gave me a test bike and a helmet, which i was able to try around Campbell park (super fast bike), came back, they furnished us with soft drinks and 40 mins later I laid the deposit down for a Pro-Cal9.8.
With cycle to work for those that are unaware, you go through your company, they give you something called a Letter of Collection which then you give that 15 digit number to Trek.
Good things to note, trek bikes come with a life time warranty on the frame to the original owner and a free service when I got it.
Would definitely go back if I'm looking for another bike.
Store staff were ace and walked me through the whole process Shout out to David.
