Our 14 year old Miele dishwasher broke and I called General Appliance Service because of the recent positive reviews on the website. It was a seamless and successful experience from the time I contacted them. Mariel arrived earlier than expected, was extremely professional and courteous. He was able to find the issues and give me a cost for repair quickly. It ended up that the repairs cost more than a new machine. Mariel told me his customers have had good experiences with several appliance stores. I contacted two and was able to find a good machine at a reasonable price to be installed soon before Mariel left. It was truly an exceptionally successful experience from beginning to end. I will use General Applicance Service for all my repair needs going forward and cannot recommend them more highly.

Rob was responsive and came right out when I let him know our fridge was not cooling properly. He got the job done quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be calling back when something breaks again!

I called for service for a problem I was having with my clothes dryer not working. The office staff quickly took all my information and was able to schedule a technician to come out to my home later the same day ! Dave was able to diagnose the problem and fix the problem quickly. He was courteous , knowledgeable and very helpful explaining the problem. Things were up and running in no time. I was completely satisfied and grateful for the quick, professional service and would highly recommend to anyone needing appliance repair. THANK YOU !!

I would definitely recommend General Appliance Service Inc. and use them again should the need arise. Moreil actually made 3 separate visits to attempt to fix my 6 year old Maytag fridge which was freezing my produce. Once the solution was identified, the cost was more than the value of the fridge brand new so I declined to fix it. Disappointed in the quality of the Maytag fridge but very happy with the service provided by Rob and Moreil.

We had service for our 12 year old Whirlpool Duet washing machine a couple of months ago and now a service on our same age Whirlpool Duet dryer today. Both visits from different technicians (Moriel and David) were outstanding. Excellent communication prior to the visit, as well as excellent knowledge and professionalism during the service call. All was completed and resolved in a timely manner with great advice given along the way, and for a fair price. I highly recommend this company for your appliance service needs! Tremendous service, exceptional, communication, and on-site support – same day service, came back the next day with a specialty part to complete the repair. A 30-year-old subzero refrigerator has life again! Also helped troubleshoot and repair a Maytag washer dryer stacked assembly. So many appliance service companies Guide you on pricing, especially if it’s on a yacht, but Rob was way more than fair – I would say extremely kind! These appliances are installed on a yacht, which makes things even more challenging. Have 100% confidence working with general appliance service! Thanks again!

We had a hard to diagnose problem with our dishwasher that took 3 visits to fix. Twice the repairman came on time and once early. Very pleased how things worked out.

Great experience—this was my first time using this company. The scheduler I spoke with was extremely friendly and asked detailed questions about the issue I was having with my dishwasher. They explained the process clearly and set expectations well. A technician was originally scheduled to come out within two days, but he called to let me know he could arrive a day earlier since his appointments finished early. He diagnosed the problem within 30 minutes, ordered the needed part, and returned the very next day to complete the repair. My dishwasher is now back up and running smoothly. Price was reasonable as it was less than the cost of a new dishwasher. Plus this dishwasher is less than 5 years old.

I had my refrigerator repaired by General Appliance Service this past week. They did an excellent job. They offered a 2 hour window vs. the standard annoying 4 hr window most companies offer and booking was so easy. You could do it online on your own vs. talking to someone on the phone and you could make adjustments to the appointment online as well. Lastly, the repair person was knowledgeable, quick and friendly. He even showed my husband the broken piece before he replaced it. I would definitely use the company again.
