I had an absolutely amazing experience at Trek’s downtown store. As a total beginner to road biking (at 39 years old), I was honestly a little intimidated going in. I’d heard stories about bike shops being unwelcoming or impatient with newcomers—but that couldn’t have been further from the truth here. Grant and his team were incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient. They took a lot of time to answer all my questions (even the really basic ones), walk me through my options, and make sure I was totally comfortable before I made any decisions. I never felt rushed or talked down to—instead, I felt supported and encouraged every step of the way. They turned what could’ve been an overwhelming experience into something genuinely fun and exciting. I feel confident and ready to hit the road thanks to their help. If you’re new to cycling or just want a shop that treats you like a real person, this is the place. Can’t recommend them enough.
