Just had to take time to shout out David at Trek Bicycle Okemos. I’ve been on the hunt for a used bike on Marketplace for a couple weeks and though I’ve seen a couple great looking bikes I didn’t know what size would best fit me as a taller woman. I stopped in unannounced and David took the time to walk me through sizing on different bike styles, a little bit of bike geometry and what to look for during a test ride. I’d done some research before coming in but David clarified some things for and gave me a bike buying confidence without going into salesman mode on me. Note - if you hadn’t heard Trek offers a great buy back program for children’s bikes which is a really awesome way to keep kids on quality bikes that won’t break the bank.
