Now I don't want to pick on the seller or manufacturer, but I wo ... See MorePurchased this chicken coop as newbie backyard chicken keepers. We did a fair amount of research prior to purchase, and the general consensus was the coop is fairly flimsy. Now I don't want to pick on the seller or manufacturer, but I would tend to agree with that sentiment. However, for the price, and given we're only starting off with 4 hens, I think it's not too bad. (We're well aware of chicken math...and we'll make additions/substitutes as necessary) The coop arrived well packaged in two boxes, and with the help of my daughter, we had it assembled in around 45min. It looks good, and I think it will be functional.

Recommend laying the bottom mesh first and building on top as it is VERY HEAVY (even when trying to lift it when it was only partially built to put the mesh under was difficult). The girls have moved in and are very happy.
