3 months agogreat little chook house, looks fabulous in backyard. I have also ordered the matching run. I would suggest labelling the panels, as that would make self assembly easier. There is one design flaw the pull out tray is in the large run this is not a walk in height and the door is not large enough to fit the tray through neither is the end of the run that opens ... See MoreI bought the super large chicken coop and run. There is one design flaw the pull out tray is in the large run this is not a walk in height and the door is not large enough to fit the tray through neither is the end of the run that opens up which makes cleaning super hard. It is suitable for my 4 pullet hens for now would be more suited for bantams rather than large or medium sized hens

The coop was exactly as expected, it was a great design and perfect for my chickens. I can walk in and access all areas easily. The wood is very thin and flimsy, so I strengthened it in areas as needed, but i knew it would be, as i have had smaller wooden coops before. I wish i could have had this design in aluminium, it would have been perfect

It was easy to construct (although did take us 5 hours). It is super cute and we have had lots of comments like “awesome Taj McChicken coop” and “McMansion”. We finished it off with some solar sensor lights. I just hope that the quality withstands the weather 🌦️.

Straight forward assembly. The base slats in the nesting b ... See MoreI bought the Super Large Deluxe Chicken Coop/Run. Delivery took a week, (more because of the courier company, not 'MyChickenCoop' so don't just assume, check the couriers first). Straight forward assembly. The base slats in the nesting box overlapped so had to cut out extra on the corner notches so they would line up flat, so the divider stood up straight. The material on the roof is fairly brittle and not sealed so it slightly crumbles away when your hand is wiped over it. Overall the coop is well constructed. With coop and run screwed together it is heavy for 1 person to move the whole construction (to fresh grass). Adding wheels and opposite handles could be an optional extra (hint hint) Final point - the ramp sits on the ground. Another problematic issue when moving the whole unit as it gets stuck in the ground. A cross strut that supports the ramp could solve this. Nice design with the nesting box lid, with the lip that tucks underneath the wall above, stops rain efficiently.

2 years agoEasy to put together. Sturdy and waterproof roof. Nesting box roof a bit flimsy, no hinges. Otherwise looks good. Described as large for 3-4 chickens. The indoor area is small, up to 3 chickens would be a better description.Easy to put together. Sturdy and waterproof roof. Nesting box roof a bit flimsy, no hinges. Otherwise looks good. Assembly was straight forward but I doubt if it will la ... See MoreChicken coop was dispatched quickly but unfortunately was sent on a courier that doesn't deliver to our place. We had to ring around to find out where it was & then go & pick it up. Assembly was straight forward but I doubt if it will last long out in the weather as it doesn't appear to be weather proof paint. Altogether not really what we were looking for.
