5 years agoSmaller than the previous one we had, very light build quaility. We painted and its come up great. Bitumin roof was lifting. Good service and handling. Not all the holes are drilled and whilst the screws and bolts are clearly labelled the other bits and pieces on the instructions would put IKEA to shame. It does loo ... It does look pretty though and my chook was impressed so....

8 years agoI contacted them by phone about delivery timeframes and was told if I ordered before Noon my order would be dispatched same day. I ordered before 11am and called them to confirm my order. Logged on to track delivery the next day to find ... See MoreI contacted them by phone about delivery timeframes and was told if I ordered before Noon my order would be dispatched same day. I ordered before 11am and called them to confirm my order. Logged on to track delivery the next day to find out it still hadn't been dispatched despite promises. Their products are good quality, but if you don't meet your promises on other parts then you damage your product regardless. Regardless, I have my chicken coop, and it's very good quality. Easy to assemble. Very practical.

4 months agoMy cat has problems using the Hamilton Cat Enclosure. The entrance to the highest level is not large enough and my cat keeps bumping his head. There is no airflow to the top level either...this should be rectified.The external side entry ... See MoreMy cat has problems using the Hamilton Cat Enclosure. The entrance to the highest level is not large enough and my cat keeps bumping his head. There is no airflow to the top level either...this should be rectified.The external side entry door is also too low for adequate use of the middle hideaway....it needs to be raised.The ramp broke off its very small hinge within 24hrs. However cats prefer ledges and not ramps so I plan to repurpose the wood for 2 ledges so he can jump onto them at differing heights.It would be nice if you could make some design changes to this CAT enclosure for future customers. Thanks!

5 months agoA bit too small for 3 big hens for any length of time. Screws on the door are slightly unaligned making it harder to close without two free hands.A bit too small for 3 big hens for any length of time. 2 years agoI purchased the Hamilton Outdoor cat enclosure and I don't think it's worth the money. It's made from very cheap materials and feels very flimsy. It also needs to have an extra perch or something outside of the house enclosure for a cat. ... See MoreI purchased the Hamilton Outdoor cat enclosure and I don't think it's worth the money. It's made from very cheap materials and feels very flimsy. It also needs to have an extra perch or something outside of the house enclosure for a cat. It's expensive in price but not in quality.

3 years agoMuch smaller than the website picture implies. Really look at the measurements before purchasing. Might be lucky to fit two chickens but will need to add a run to it. Might be lucky to fit two chickens but will need to add a run to it. I'm not sure if a large chicken could even stand up in it. Many of the panels had split wood where the screws were inserted so I had to repair a few areas. The paint job is certainly not as per the website picture! Really patchy and very thin. Won't last in the weather for long.For the price, it's ok but I'd rather pay an extra couple of hundred dollars and get something larger and better quality.The pictures really need to show a realistic aspect of the coop sizes.

Poor choice for an outside object.Smaller than you expect.My guess is the timber is not sustainably sourced, otherwise they'd advertise this. Probably rainforest timber - think orangutan habitat.

Coop went overnight the day of ordering from Sydney to Port Macquarie (near where I live) It then sat in their depot for 3 days.Last night it moved to Coffs Harbour or perhaps the truck going to Coffs Harbour to be dropped at the local servo. No door to door delivery in the bush! Perhaps I'll get it today??? Day 5.

But one panel had the wire mesh on tie wrong side (it was inside-out. Instructions were fairly easy to follow except that some of the drawings were not very clear. I was most disappointed with the inside-out panel as that spoiled the overall look of the coop.

4 years agoCo op looked great and we were happy to spend over $1000 getting it because we love our chooks. But it's not good quality and is already falling apart 3 months later, this is not ok. The wood is also too light - I'm too frightened to put it put in the weather, I reckon the rail will rot the light boards in a few months - but ...
