The blue sea, gorgeous mountains, and stunning views were breathtaking, and the lakes had the most amazing colors!

It's difficult to pick just one highlight because there were so many wonderful places. Walking the streets of a 3,000-year-old city, hiking in pristine national parks, and the beautiful, relaxing boat ride on the Adriatic all stood out. I truly enjoyed the whole experience!

The guides were fantastic! We also enjoyed all the activities, including hiking, griffon vultures, the apiary and truffle hunting.

The hike among the lovely waterfalls in Croatia was unforgettable.

I appreciated the interaction with the Expedition Leaders and the knowledge they shared with me about the culture, history and wildlife of the area. I was extremely satisfied with the accommodations during the trip. The rooms were excellent, and the food was exceptional. The vans were spacious and comfortable.

I loved that we got to enjoy traditional, regional food, especially the 11-course dinner at the Michelin-star restaurant in Pag. That was quite the experience! Two highlights were the visit to Plitvice National Park and the final day, which included a hike in the gorge and a cable car ride to the top of Mount Vogel. There was a great variety of activities besides the hikes—wine and olive oil tasting, visiting a bee farm and a tour of Zadar.

Our Expedition Leader was unparalleled. Her in-depth understanding of Croatia and Slovenia, including their cultures, customs, intricate histories and natural landscapes, was evident. She navigated roads, towns, and various arrangements with ease, ensuring a smooth trip without any hitches. Her leadership left a lasting impression on me. The entire trip was wonderful, fun and enlightening. One of my most treasured moments was observing the griffin vultures in their natural habitat. Watching around eight of them soar over the hills through my binoculars was a sight to behold.

I loved the diverse range of activities, including truffle hunting, beekeeping, the winery, the olive oil farm and the dairy farm. Hiking in the Alps and visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park were standout moments for me.

The mountain hikes were remarkable, and the treats at each hut, particularly the milk chilled in the mountain stream, were highlights. Our dining experiences, from picnics to a seven-course meal, were memorable. The vans were not only comfortable but also impeccably clean and stocked with treats. The diverse activities offered us unique experiences each day, and we loved the variety.

I felt completely safe during the entire trip. Our amazing Expedition Leaders further enhanced our amazing experience.
