Another excellent tuning and a semi regulation on my old Ibach Grand. Without a doubt, the piano sounds vastly better with a firmer action. A joy to play. When I called Dan , I was a little desperate . I had just spent a lot of money on a second hand piano during the pandemic to keep me sane. It sounded great when I tried it but found it sounded dreadful when I got it home .
I couldn’t understand how I had made such a mistake .
Dan tuned the piano and then gently told me that it was just too large for my little room . He advised me to cover it in blankets and try playing it again . I am a textile artist , so covering something in wool was no issue to me and I actually love how it looks in its new jumper !
But WOW , it sounds fabulous . Something so simple has completely transformed my piano and brought me such joy and comfort especially during lockdown . I also think my neighbours appreciate the difference too !
So thank you Dan , you are more than a piano tuner , you are a life saver and a genius .

Dan certainly takes his time to ensure that the piano is tuned well and that in itself is a great thing. His tuning skills are excellent and his advice on all piano related aspects very good indeed. Dan did a superb job on my upright piano. He was reliable and self-sufficient in every way. The old family piano had not been professionally tuned for decades but two rounds of tuning brought it back to life. Dan has attended a couple of times to tune our new Yamaha piano since we purchased it. He is clearly very passionate and skilled at his work, and the piano has sounded incredible each time following his work.
In addition to this, he is very professional, polite, quick to respond on email, was flexible to fit the appointment in, and has multiple payment options (including card and bank transfer), which just makes it all easier.

Great service from Dan. Great online booking option too and a very quick and efficient turnaround at a hectic time of the year. Dan tuned a very out of tune piano beautifully, taking great time and care over the job.
