Looked into custom licensing to change lyrics, paying FIRST, and they let me know it would be way too much money (Beatles tune), and then refunded the cost. I was a novice producing my own cover songs. I wanted to distribute my work to friends but I wanted to do it legally. I found Easy Song to be THE MOST approachable business to acquire the mechanical rights for my cover songs. Other competitive services make it harder to find contact information on their website, so it's harder to ask the questions about the services you need.
