I purchased a Trek Fuel Ex 9.7 at $6299.99. The bike and new store is awesome! However, I had mixed feelings about the service. The guys who initially sold me the bike were great, even though there was a month wait. I paid a 25% deposit as requested = $1500. So I figured the bike package was $6K. A moth later my bike was in and I received an invoice on the day stating my bike total was $6299.99, which didn't add up. I was told there was no discount. I let them know I would collect the bike at 2pm. On pickup, I had to wait an hour in store due to issues with the build (breaks and wrap). When the bike was ready, we had to wait another 20min for a staff member who went to serve another customer and left us. The other four staff just stood around. My feeling was that there were too many staff rostered on who didn't know what to do or how to deal with customers. Give me a half day training session with them and I'll increase monthly store sales by 25%. However, my maths could be wrong.

Being new to mountain biking and after much research decided on a Trek, I real like the bike an everything about it. But the shops customer service and communication is poor, after having a flat front tyre and could not get tyre off after a trip to shop to get tyre off, and back again to get tyre back on , two staff members pinched two tubes trying to get it back on an had to leave overnight. On picking up tyre and asked why it was so hard to get back on an two tubes pinched was told, “ there kids an don’t know how to do it “ Whole experience not good

I was after a specific Trek bike listed on website, the website provides a generic list of retailers with no indication of stock levels. Visited in store to find out where I could buy the bike, same issue, staff had no idea where the bike was still available.

Absoluely disgusting service! My partner ordered her bike back in September, to be told that she should have it within a couple of weeks....after a couple of follow up calls, she was finally told, after 6 weeks, her bike had arrived & was ready for pick up. We excitedly arrive to find a scratched leather seat, scratches on the handlebars, & what looked to be a small dent on the crome. We were then offered a 5% discount & the bottle holder for free...equating to aound 80 dollars, for an $850 dollar bike....um no thanks!!!! Save your time & money & look elsewhere....thanks Blackman Bicycles for coming to our rescue!!
