We were looking for modern barn doors for our bathrooms. I love United Porte style, they have great while silk finish. Customer service was impressive, I was able to get answers to all my questions. Delivery was fast. We used professionals for installation, we are nor very handy.
Doors are very important, we were able to update our house style with there doors.

The doors look great! Good price. Really easy to install. Wonderful customer service. There was a small issue with one of the doors and it was resolved in no time in a very friendly manner. I would definitely buy from UnitedPorte in the future.

We bought here double door to replace existing sliding doors in the bedroom closet. All procedures from the order to delivery was fast and seamless. At the order time we were offered some options to select. We had also great technical support during the installation.
The quality of the product is outstanding. The door panels are very flat without any imperfections, they are heavy enough to look not cheap. The casing has very sophisticated design that make it easy adjustable to any wall thickness. They look very professionally set even with DYI installation. Installation could be tricky if you order the door set without handles and latches: it comes not predrilled for hinges in such case and needs the time consuming marking

I purchased a handle and door locks. Did none of the parts come with door lock ( cover inside and outside or dead bolt cover. To much money just a cylinder and twelve keys. And then they wont to sell the part i need for $90 more dollars. And its going on 4 months.Update Thank you for reaching out so fast about my complaint. Thank you for handling it so swift.

More like 4.5. The door is beautiful but the instruction sheet that came with it to help you hang it is very poorly written and missing key points such as attaching the wheels to the door. So I say the door is great, the printed instruction material that comes with it not so great. Needs to be re-written step by step.

These are some of the best looking doors and the quality is top notch. However if you place a large order, be prepared for some mistakes and it takes a while to fix with their customer service. Try to be very clear with your measurements, swing directions and hardware choices. We had ordered 10 doors and 4 of them had issues between miscommunication or production errors. They owned up to every mistake and fixed everything so we were very satisfied but the time consumed was not expected. I highly recommend them and their installers, my regular contractor couldn't install their closet door but their installer, Yauheni, did all 10 doors in 3 days! Top notch and highly recommended.

Be advised, company states in a link at the bottom of their website that if you do not report damaged products within 48 hours of receipt they will not accept returns, but they did send me a replacement door for the damaged one I received.

i have called this company 5 times about missing parts, the customer service reps while friendly all assure me that someone will call me or email to fix and they never do. so as of the moment I have a nearly 2k door that I cant use because they just ignore me.
UPDATE : only after making this review I received a call/reply
They shipped me a track which was the wrong size and different model.The shipping was very delayed but I guess that's not their fault.they were however able to get UPS to come pick it up the next day. they then sent another track that ended up being the right one but again the shipping was delayed.
they did eventually take care of the issue but it took way to long to correct and I got alot of pushback

The doors were perfect..the doors should have a stopper when open because they run freely; otherwise the doors are fine

This is my last desperate attempt to get a hold of the company. We were sent the wrong amount of parts for the frame of the doors and have been trying to get a hold of the company to help. We have spoken with several different people in which we were told the extra frame piece was shipped but unfortunately that was not the case. We were even sent a shipping label but when the part did not arrive we were told they accidentally send us the wrong person's shipping label. We have felt lied to and brushed off. They are no longer answering my calls and I would like to finish my project the correct way. I would be happy to delete this review once there is a resolution but I felt I had no other choice.

Sliding doors are 5 star quality. Installation instructions and included hardware made the process easy and as expected. Company service is also helpful and spot on. Shipping time was longer than expected and split shipment of doors and hardware caused a delay in installation. Overall, I would purchase from United Port again.

Purchased seven interior doors from United Porte for new construction. Door are very decent quality for the price. All hardware is made in Italy. Good customer service.

We purchased 30 doors from this showroom, and the customer service has been consistently disappointing. Every time we come in, the staff seem too busy to even look up and acknowledge us. If you try to ask someone who’s already with a client to simply point you in the right direction, there’s no greeting or courtesy - just an irritated head gesture with no words.
What’s even more frustrating is that this happens whether the showroom is busy or completely empty. We drive an hour to get there, sit waiting for almost another hour, and still no one approaches us or checks if we need help. The staff just sit behind their computers, avoiding eye contact, showing an absolute lack of basic customer service.
And when something goes wrong, the experience gets even worse. One of the 30 doors we purchased arrived chipped. We were accommodating and agreed to a repair, but it’s been a full year with no repair kit, no replacement, and no resolution of any kind.
Extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable given the amount we spent.

My experience with UnitedPorte Staten Island , NY location wasn’t good as I expected. The salesman Asadbek is unprofessional and unexpirenced, didn’t take attention to my project. The measurement ($75) also went wrong. All mistakes were fix with help of Headquarter office in NJ , but cost me $$. Finally Installation was successful with up to date equipment .Irina Bondarenko
