I attended the Dolce Vita course in Rome in June. It was a fantastic fortnight with friendly and pleasant people. The school and our group were a colorful mix from beginners to professionals. In the morning, you attend the informal theory block with young and old alike, according to your own level, in the very centrally located school building in the middle of the ancient center of Rome. The school provides an ideal, specially developed teaching aid for each level (A1-C2). The varied Dolce Vita program starts at midday and includes one or two one- to three-hour activities every day. It is advisable to book accommodation close to the school, as the breaks between the morning program and the Dolce Vita activities in the afternoon/evening vary greatly. The school organizes many themed walks in Rome, guided visits to the Vatican Museum, the Colosseum, etc.. But there are also culinary activities such as pasta making, wine tasting, dinner, etc. On Saturday we went on a day trip to Castello Gandolfo with a wonderful typical Italian pranzo. Excursion tickets, restaurants and tourist guides were all organized by the school and everything went very smoothly.
I would highly recommend both the Dolce Vita program and the school itself. I will be very happy to come again. They were varied, casual and instructive days in wonderful Rome. Thank you Francesca, Linda, Marta, Monika, Lulu, Rossana and of course Mr. Direttore who always had a curiosita ready!
