A sudden allergic reaction caused my wife and I to show up at Heritage Urgent Care earlier today. The ladies at the front desk were quick to help and provide assistance. We were in a back room and received service in no time. Thank you Heritage Urgent Care!

FANTASTIC!
I couldn't be more pleased with my care today. I was seen immediately after the normal intake paperwork. The staff was very professional and sympathetic. They actually listened and genuinely cared about my issue.
They then went above and beyond to get me a last minute written prescription after certain local pharmacies utterly screwed up and didn't fulfill a script for a VERY common medication that was supposedly out of stock (yet conveniently didn't tell me until I got home and said wait! I'm missing something!)... and that I needed to start immediately.
The facility is very nice and up to date without being ostentatious. Tastefully designed and sets you at ease.
I will definitely make this clinic my go-to!

My wife drove me to the closest urgent care facility because we didn't think that we had enough time to make it to the ER. Upon arrival, my body started to go into shock. The staff and Dr. Wendell John went into action right away!
I learned later from the EMS who took me from Heritage to the ER that if it were any other facility that I went to that I would probably not have fared as well. Dr. Wendell John is highly regarded by local EMS and the staff at UNC Rex. Those that know him attributed my well being to his craft, knowledge, and quick thinking. It is very possible that without the help from the doctors and staff a week ago, I would not be able to leave this humble review. I can't recommend them enough.

So glad I came upon this practice earlier this year! I originally went in for an urgent care visit and because of the exceptional experience with Dave, I decided to transition to this practice as my primary care. I now see Wendell and he has been phenomenal. He spends so much time with you and really tries to get to the root of the problem. I have appreciated his holistic outlook and treatment with the issues I've had. (He will prescribe medicine of course if needed, but it was important to me to try to heal as naturally as possible). Wendell helped me to get back to myself, both mentally and physically, after having a baby and I am so very grateful!
The only negative thing we've experience was with the billing. My husband also sees Wendell and we did have an issue with his billing for something but everyone at the practice helped us to get it remedied which we appreciated!
Overall, we really love coming here for our primary care. Wendell genuinely cares about your whole being and shares his knowledge and expertise to help you heal from the inside out. We have referred many friends and family members to see him as we trust him wholeheartedly with our care.

It can be hard to find a good primary care doctor that cares and listens, and I am so grateful to have found that with Dr. Wendell. Been coming to them to deal with various issues and the staff is always kind and helpful. I highly recommend them!

Big props to the practice manager, Alexis. My daughter was seen on Saturday and prescribed an antibiotic which didn’t make it to the pharmacy due to technical issues. Alexis called me on Sunday, minutes after I left a message and review. Although the practice is closed on Sundays, she was able to reach a provider who resent the prescription. This saved me THOUSANDS as my husband was already at the emergency room with my daughter. Practice managers often don’t get the credit they deserve in handling issues like this. Thank you Alexis. I appreciate you taking the time out of your Sunday to rectify this

I have been to this urgent care twice and they do a great job. I highly recommend this health care facility. The staff are attentive and caring. Their knowledge is outstanding, they quickly and accurately diagnose the problem and prescribe effective treatment. I am thankful they are there when I need them!

I had a cold, not covid, about 2 months ago. It went through my children then me. I had a cough that came on then some what died out. Then came back on full force. I felt as if I was coughing up a lung and could not get passed it. It would lead to dizziness and headaches as well.
My own doctor would not see me due to me showing up late and not being able to have a covid test at the back of their building. I didn't know, with them being an urgent care as well, that they stopped their covid testing at 4:30 in the afternoon. They would not even send a nurse to the back, outside, to test me.
The next morning I went to Heritage. They let me fill out all my paperwork in my truck and set a room up for me. The front staff was awesome in how they helped me and came out to me.
I then saw a NP named Taylor if I am correct. She was wonderful and did a thorough examination. I have been on combo of medication for a week and not quite finished. I am not coughing the same as it finally has broken up. The entire staff was wonderful, nice, and professional. I am thankful a place like this exist close to my work and small town about 20 mins away. I recommend them and I am also thinking of making this not just my urgent care but primary as well.
It is wonderful to find a medical team that isn't scare to death of covid, understands that every cough isn't covid, and still wants to help people. Thank you Heritage for how you helped me. May God Bless all of y'all.
