We have recently returned from Villa Oliver,. Agues Mortes. We were unfortunately delayed leaving Manchester travelling on a Saturday, therefore the local supermarkets were closed. I emailed Pierre the keyholder and kept him informed and met him at the villa on our arrival. He was very thorough with how things worked, and pointed out some supplies in the fridge, what a shame there was no milk ! After a walk into the village for food after 9pm, a negotiated carton of milk was bought from a restaurant in the square. The villa was spotless, well equipped and had everything we needed. The walk to the town was a little rough underfoot for my parents and took more like 20 -25 mins, but good directions on the noticeboard. We enjoyed the week, jumping on the train and going on the boat trip from the harbour. Overall, an excellent week and would book again with South of France Villas.

We loved the house and it's shabby chic look. There were 9 of us and once we worked out how everything worked were fine. We had a problem with the electrics which the local agent attended to quickly and a permanent solution should now be in place. We loved the town and the friendly locals who were very interested in us. There were great beaches within a 20 min drive but it was lovely just chilling in the attractive courtyard garden. We will definitely return and can heartily recommend the house.

We can highly recommend South France Holiday villas. We booked a villa this summer for 11 people. They helped us find a perfect villa for us, Mas du Cotton in Cavillargues, and we had a wonderful time. Many thanks, we will certainly be using you to book a house for next summer!

We stayed in the Garden Apartment for 2 weeks in Jun/Jul 2017. From first enquiry to arrival all went smoothly. We were greeted by Derek who was most welcoming and helpful with suggestions and recommendations for our stay. The apartment ,pool and garden areas were in very good order and fully complied with descriptions and photos. The location was good being in comfortable walking distance of the port of Marseillan with its restaurants and amenities. For those with more active interests in mind, Marseillan Plage was only a few minutes drive away with beaches and restaurants. Lisa kindly invited us to an opening and reception of the new bar at Noilly Prat , and I would recommend a visit ..

We had a wonderful stay earlier this month at VIlla Mozart. It is a fabulous property in a stunning location. It is clear that the owners pride themselves on maintaining a warm and inviting place to spend time while visiting the Cote d'Azur. The house is completely up to date, with all the modern conveniences one could want. There is plenty of room for 6 adults, (We did wish for another comfortable couch in the living room, but ,according to the property manager, there are plans to expand the ground floor of the house over the winter, so I bet this will not be an issue next season.). The villa is located up a fairly steep, narrow, private road with a few hairpin turns, but the drive is worth it. Vence is a great base for exploring the coast, a charming town with lots of great restaurants. We managed to cover coast from Cannes to Ventimiglia. To sum it up, we will be making plans to return to Villa Mozart in the near future.

Although we didn't in the end book through South France Holiday Villas as we were suddenly offered the opportunity to rent a friend's property we found them extremely helpful. They listened to what we wanted, took time to find suitable properties and then answered further questions. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. We will certainly talk to them again when we next want to visit the South of France.

Very good service and felt as though I could trust the infromation given. People are easily available to contact and web site very informative and user friendly. Asked for some information on stop overs and Julianne suggested Troyes and Valance. Both great cities that I had never heard of with fantastic old centres. An added service that is usually not available with other holiday booking sites

This is a lovely villa and very well-equipped. The kitchen has loads of gadgets, pots and pans etc and if anything there is not enough cupboard space for storing groceries ( but there are two fridge-freezers). The TV has the full list of British freeview channels, and there is a small library of DVDs to watch, as well as a lot of local maps/guidebooks. The pool area is a bit remote from the house and not ideal if you want to pop in and out of the house, although there is a fridge and BBQ area adjacent to the pool. The view from the pool area is truly stunning. There is a patio and outside eating area outside the lounge patio doors, again with a great view of the valley. The driveway approach to the villa is up a bendy road, and the walk to the village is about 10 mins downhill, 15 mins uphill on the way back. There are three eating options in the village, two mid priced restaurants (one a bit swankier than the other) and the local (busy) bar which does cheap and cheerful meals in the summer. Very large Carrefour about 8 miles away and there is a Carrefour express in the village which carries a good range and has a butchery counter, as well as a local bakery/patisserie. The roads into Cessenon from west and east are in very good condition, they must have been resurfaced when the Tour de France came through here in 2016! And there are lots and lots of vineyards with direct sales/tasting options around the area.

We had a very nice time, villa is clean and comfortable. Nice local restaurants and amenities. Would recommend and likely go back.

Domaine La Veronique is a lovely, very well set-up villa. It is situated in a blissfully peaceful spot amongst the vines, a 5 minute drive from the nearest village. Almost everything you might need is provided - a very well provided kitchen, a lovely pool and outdoor dining space, wifi, and charming bedrooms - all with their own bathrooms. Sally is a lovely hostess and made sure we had everything we needed.

Almost gave this 4 stars - A nice looking house with a lovely pool in a quiet and pleasant location, with a short walk to a friendly village. Good supermarkets nearby. We found the website very helpful. We did have some interaction with the property managers in France although we did not find them particularly helpful. We did contact them to ask for extra fans as it was extremely hot in the house and two of the fans were either not working very well or screeching. We were told that we could not get any extra fans as we already had some. We also had to contact them to ask if the pool could be cleaned while we were there. We were told we really should have contacted them sooner to say the pool was starting to look a little murky. A pleasant pool technician did come and do that eventually. Other than that nobody checked in with us to see if were ok during our 2 week stay. The house itself would have benefitted from a few extra mosquito screens as we needed to keep doors open to try and cool the house down in the mornings particularly. We seemed to get bitten all day long indoors and outdoors despite mosquito repellents and contraptions. Some of our friends had trouble sleeping as two of the bedrooms were too hot at night. Personally I found the double bed in the bedroom by the kitchen uncomfortable as I could feel the springs pushing into my back. We really enjoyed the location but probably would not return to this particular house or not at the height of summer anyway!

Very disappointing villa, it appeared to be neglected and needed a dose of TLC! The fridge/freezer was constantly leaking and we were forever mopping up puddles on the floor. The caretaker was there for two days replacing a motor for the pool and mending the awning so that we could eat outside. The garden at the front was overgrown and bits of rubbish were thrown amongst the weeds. Some of the rails around the perimeter of the property were broken and unsafe, quite dangerous as there was a drop to the beach and rocks below. It was strange to have a shower room with no toilet and a separate toilet without a washbasin! However the views from the back of the house were lovely which compensated, to a certain degree, for the poor accommodation. We were invited to view another property nearby which we were told could be offered to us next year for a ‘special price’ to make up for the inconvenience we had experienced this year, however we declined! I think it was unfair our ‘breakage’ fee was not returned even though nothing was damaged. I will not be booking with South of France Holiday Villas again.
