I loved this adventure due to its small group size and I felt very comfortable as a solo traveler. The itinerary kept us moving and we had an awesome, caring and very knowledgeable Expedition Leader. My favorite part of the trip was meeting, having conversations with and learning about the people of Churchill. It is such an amazing place!

This was such an amazing and awe-inspiring adventure that for the first time in a handful of trips, I was not ready to come home. We got to see the northern lights and I learned a lot about how to predict them. I enjoyed meeting and hearing locals share their experiences living in Churchill, as well as their pearls of wisdom as we negotiated this new-to-us terrain for the first time. It was all fascinating. I am very much looking forward to my next adventure with Nat Hab!

The northern lights were so spectacular. We had a blast snowshoeing, meeting the Metis dog musher and being with our guides and fellow travelers! I will definitely be back, most likely to Churchill but also on other Nat Hab adventures!

Experiencing the Arctic environment was magical, and the northern lights were the icing on the cake! I appreciated all the effort that went into this adventure and I truly can say I have never seen any company do it better.

While we were watching the aurora at its peak, our Expedition Leader noticed an Arctic hare about ten feet away, perched on its hind legs and watching us. It stayed for a bit, scampered off and then came back. That was a magical moment I will never forget. Thank you to everyone at Nat Hab for making this trip possible, comfortable and enjoyable. Going forward, this is the way I want to travel and experience the world.

Photographing the aurora and learning more about night photography were the goals of my trip. My Expedition Leader's knowledge and availability greatly enhanced the experience. Dog sledding was a delightful bonus. It was a very educational adventure that surpassed my expectations. And thank you for all your conservation efforts and sustainability.

The northern lights were SO magical, but I had so many unexpected favorites due to the care we received and the carefully curated events. We had the comfort of being able to relax and let this trip wash over us. I feel refreshed and more aware of the world around me. We came for the lights but came away with friends, fun, refreshment, accomplishment and an appreciation for a culture that we previously knew little about.

Dog sledding, snowshoeing and getting to see the northern lights were highlights! Our Expedition Leader was very helpful, thoughtful and informative.

Getting to meet and hear the stories of the people of Churchill was incredibly powerful.

The northern lights viewing was better than expected, and we liked all the different venues that we viewed them from! That really added more interest to our photos. Dog sledding was wonderful and so much fun. I also loved learning about the Metis people and their culture.

I loved all the different ways we had to interact with this unique environment. The variety of venues to see the northern lights each had its own benefits. It gave us the total experience. The dog sledding was fabulous, as were chances to walk through the woods both day and night. In the end, though, my favorites were the opportunities to meet and interact with the members of the community. I appreciated how everyone we met--drivers, artists, museum staff and dog mushers--shared their experiences and thoughts to help me understand the entirety of the people and natural environments of the North.
