From start to finish, this was an amazing experience. Our driver had so much knowledge and gave us such a nice ride through the park explaining everything and the horse was treated very well. Nice and easy with breaks, water and treats. I do this every time I go to the city

We had an amazing time! Our driver took us through all of Central Park and stopped twice and took photos of us. He was very nice and professional, informing us of the history of the park and its surroundings. Will come again next time in NYC!!

This was super fun to do and very educational. Troy was our driver and he was able to take us through Central Park show us some hidden gems, places that they've done movies over the years, and historic buildings around Central Park. We were there on our 10th anniversary November 15th 2025 the weather was in the '50s, a blanket was provided on the carriage ride and it was super romantic for us to spend that time together seeing all the people walking around, riding around, and jogging around Central Park. A must see for anyone that goes to New York City.

We did the Central Park VIP Tour with 3 photo stops (65 min) and it was well worth it. Josh (our tour guide) and Starlight (pictured) were wonderful! Learned some great facts about Central Park and NYC while taking in the awesome sights and overall ambiance. If you’re worried about bathroom breaks, there is one stop along the way with a restroom, at least on the VIP tour. There are also public restrooms right inside of the park near Columbus Circle.

We had a fantastic carriage ride around Central Park, made initial enquiry via WhatsApp as we needed a carriage which would be suitable for my Mum to get in/out as she walks with two sticks. The person who responded over WhatsApp was very helpful and gave good extra information (in addition to what was explained on the website). We had a great tour around the Park over 65 minutes and covered a wide area. The maps of the routes on the website were very helpful. It was also fun to be able to feed our horse (Amazing Grace) carrots afterwards. The carriage was comfortable and the addition of the step stool to get in/out was useful. We enjoyed learning some of the popular culture about the films made in the area and how the Park functions. The bench seating was very comfortable as well. Thank you for giving us a great memory of a fun visit to New York!

Absolutely amazing experience, I booked for after my proposal in Central Park. Excellent tour, very knowledgeable and nice. Beautiful pictures and overall amazing night. The horses were very healthy and seemed well taken care of which was a major plus.

Our experience with this company was wonderful. I would warn not to use the other guys selling rides to those walking up. Book with NYC horse carraige rides and enjoy the tour filled with trivia and detail. Our horses name was Charlie brown and forgive me, I forget our drivers name but it was such an amazing experience!

We absolutely loved our carriage ride! Christina and Sherman were excellent, we loved hearing the history and seeing the beauty of the park. Excellent communication and carriage was very easy to find. We also enjoyed feeding Sherman carrots at the end of our ride. Highly recommend, well worth the cost, would schedule again!

We had an excellent tour guide who told us all about the history of the park and pointed out apartment buildings on the perimeter and stories about people who lived there. It was a great way to see the park, since it's too big to really appreciate just by walking through part of it.

This is a really lovely excursion to sightsee around Central Park. Whilst we benefitted from beautiful weather, our guide met us on time and was super knowledgeable and courteous. We were shown the best places and angles to take photographs and he also offered to take photos of us rather than us grappling with selfies. Our horse, Amazing Grace, was beautifully turned out and looked very healthy and content.

Was a beautiful day and the ride was lovely. We made some photo stops which was fun. It is a really nice thing to do when tourists are in town and I enjoyed doing it with my family too (who live in NY)! Would recommend!

Adam was our driver. He was patient. He took some wonderful pictures; knowing where to stop to get the shot. We were actually late, yes I can get lost even when NY is a grid, and Adam was able to still take us. I appreciate his flexibility. It was a wonderful experience.

It was a very nice and relaxing ride. Our horse handler was very knowledgeable and was funny and made it fun and entertaining. The photo stops were just perfect, and we felt like we had enough time at each. We didn't feel rushed at all. I definitely recommend. If I make it back to NYC, I will be visiting Central Park again. This is a great way to cover a lot of ground.

Absolutely wonderful. Our carriage driver was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Our horse was the beautiful Saving Grace. Going back to NY next year with other friends and will definitely book with NYC Horse Carriage Rides again.
