Our carriage driver, George, and Lady Liberty, our horse, made for a very informative and beautiful ride through Central Park. This was the hi-lite of our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. The knowledge George had about the park was amazing. His insight of the Dakota and Strawberry Fields designed by Yoko Onno was not only insightful, but correct. This is a day that we'll remember forever.

I live in Massachusetts, but brought my mother and great niece, who live in the South, to visit Manhattan. The highlight of the trip for my niece was the carriage ride with NYC Horse Carriage Rides. The reservation process was painless. The information that they texted to us helped to navigate the way there while avoiding scammers. When we got there, the driver helped us all into the carriage. Because my mother and I had trouble getting in and out of the carriage, he stopped and took photos for us with my phone. Definitely went above and beyond. He was knowledgeable, even answering questions not on script, funny, and personable. I would happily do one of these tours again.

My daughters and I were visiting NYC and we reserved a horse and carriage ride with NYC Horse Carriage Rides. We had a great time. They stopped so we could take photos, see the water fountain in Central Park, and so they could give the horse food and water so she could have a break. Our guides gave us information about Central Park and NYC and some guidance of places to visit. The horses seemed to be well cared for and we had a great time! I would recommend this company! We did have some difficulty finding this company when we went to the spot where the horses are waiting. Some of the signs have this logo on the back of them so you aren't able to see it, you could show them the logo and ask if they are part of this company!

What a great way to start our trip to NYC, with a relaxing horse and carriage ride round Central Park. Christina, our driver gave us loads of great information and background about the park and its history, and Sherman did a brilliant job of taking us on our 45 minute tour. We appreciated the opportunities to stop and take some photos, and also the fact that they were very accommodating and understanding when we had to change our departure time due to a hold up. Easy to book from the UK and a thoroughly enjoyable experience - thank you!

When my family and I traveled to New York City for a week’s vacation, they knew the one thing I truly wanted to do was take a horse-drawn carriage ride through Central Park (yep, I wanted to feel like a princess for the day). Jesus and his horse made my wish come true. Our hour long ride was relaxing, entertaining, and informative. Jesus shared cool facts about places around the park where certain movies, tv shows, or events had taken place, as well as historical facts about the park and NYC. We stopped at different places to take pictures and our son got to feed the horse its carrots at each stop as well as after our ride was over. Jesus was able to answer all of our questions we had during the ride. He was super personable and made our experience memorable. He even made an extra quick stop for my husband to run in and use the restroom at one of the locations within the park. Our horse (whose name was either Moonlight or Moonstruck) was very well-trained, and you could tell she was loved. If you are unsure about which company to choose, since there are many out there, I highly recommend NYC Horse Carriage Rides. From purchasing the tickets online, to meeting at the pickup spot, having a nicely decorated carriage, and making sure we were comfortable at all times, they did a wonderful job. Thank you Jesus, Moonlight, and NYC Horse Carriage Rides (est. 1979) for making our evening memorable.

i purchased this a year ago for my wife and I and we had to keep rescheduling. Thank God for the people that were so understanding and accommodating, as they probably rescheduled us 7 times, at our request. .
Once we finally were able to go, we got assigned to Henry & winter breeze ~ what a perfect pairing!!! my wife and I had a wonderful time listening to the history of the park, taking pictures, feeding the horse, and learning about Henrys journey!
It was a very special & memorable day!
If you can, request Henry~ he's a phenomenal photographer & host!

I'm so glad we selected NYC Horse Carriage Rides to take us around Central Park. Henry, our driver was very nice, informative and took great photos, using our phones, that we will have as keepsakes. He treated Jake, our horse for the hour, with love and dignity. He answered any questions my sister asked about the care and treatment of their horses and we were happy to learn they were treated with TLC. We could see the loving relationship Henry built with Jake. Jake could follow verbal commands and Henry always spoke to him gently. The carriages were clean, comfortable and nicer than many we saw. The price was for 4 of us, so it wasn't unreasonable in our opinion. I'd recommend it. Thanks for the ride!

Four of us had the Park and Rockerfeller tour on a beautiful evening with Hassan and his horse Charlie. Hassan was brilliant, friendly, and stopped at various viewpoints to allow us to take photos, as well as taking loads of pics for us! Charlie was a real character and loved being fed apples along the journey. Well worth the money for a great trip, thanks Hassan!

I arranged a surprise 25-minute carraige ride Monday, 10:30 May 20, 2024 with my Slovak girlfriend on her first visit to the USA. The experience was a perfect and romantic introduction to the park and the driver was excellent. She was friendly, charismatic and shared her knowledge about each view. Thank you!
