Absolutely wonderful. Our carriage driver was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Our horse was the beautiful Saving Grace. Going back to NY next year with other friends and will definitely book with NYC Horse Carriage Rides again.

We took a group of Michiganders to New York City and this was one of the tours we arranged. Our participants had a really great time and I thought that carriage that I was on was well run and we got lots of historical interpretation which we loved. Our carriage driver was from Ecuador and she did a wonderful job sharing many details of the park and was very helpful taking pictures and being very pleasant. I would recommend.

Taking a horse and carriage ride through Central Park was a wonderful experience. Our driver, Josh, was friendly and full of interesting facts about the park’s history, pointing out landmarks and stories along the way. The horse, Starlite, was calm, beautiful, and clearly well cared for. It was a relaxing way to see the park and take in the scenery at an easy pace. A classic New York experience that feels timeless and worth every minute.

Great ride, horse, carriage, and host. He was extremely friendly and knowledgable about the area. He told us about the park, its history, and answered all of our questions about Olaf the horse. We booked online for a 8.30am time but we slept in and so we had to call in twice to re-schedule our time to a later time, and fortunately they were flexible and were okay with it (maybe we got lucky with a not so busy morning). 10/10 recommend their carriage.

For our carriage trip around Central Park, we had the pleasure of meeting Josh and Olaf of NYC Horse Carriage Rides. Josh was cheeky! Knowledgeable and fun! Olaf was the perfect gentlehorse taking us around the park very comfortably! It was definitely a highlight of our time in the Big Apple. Highly recommend NYC Horse Carriage Rides. We would definitely use their services again for another carriage ride.

The movement to stop these carriage rides MUST be stopped. Perhaps the speeding bikes should be banned.

I enjoyed my carriage ride alot I only wish I timed it better, it got dark and we couldn't see much. Christina was great and Sherman our horse is beautiful. I'm from Canada and to book was so easy and very well organized. Thanks again.

We had the best time! Our driver was very knowledgeable and personable. Very interesting. We could not have seen all of the areas of the park that we did if not taking this ride; we just didn't have the time or the energy! It is vast and worthy of a day trip if you have the time. It's a classic New York tour and worth it.

We visited NYC from Vermont for a weekend. The carriage ride was one of my favorite moments with my family. While other horses appeared to be tired & overworked our horse appeared happy healthy & well cared for. I highly recommend this company.

Took the night city ride with my son. Had a woman driver. I forgot her name, but the horses name was Sherman. We really enjoyed her! She knew so much about the city and it kinds took you back in time to when all the richest people lived on 5th avenue before cars were even invented. So much to learn. If you ever watched 'The Gilded Age' you felt you were going through their history on 5th avenue. I wish I could take this ride many times, but its so expensive! One day again maybe in the winter.

As a family of 6 we had to have 2 carriages & we booked in advance after a recommendation & liked it because the horses welfare was paramount to them & it was clear to see that was true. Starlight & Amazing Grace were our steed's on this occasion & we had a beautiful ride around Central Park with wonderful guides Leon & Anna, lots of knowledge & information! Thank you..
