What an amazing experience. Certainly seeing all the sights of central park in luxury. Love the premise that horses only come out if they have been booked and not standing around. The horse, (Lucky Sam), was very responsive to the drivers voice and commands without any other prompts. Loved it!! :)

BEST carriage ride in NYC! Avoid the high-pressure, over-priced third-party sales at Central Park by booking in advance with NYC Horse Carriage Rides! In fact, my group of four sisters booked at the park just minutes in advance, and Tommy and Lucky Sam were there like clockwork. It was so easy to book, we relaxed knowing we got a great deal, Tommy was a superb guide with great stories, and we enjoyed a lovely hour-long ride through the beautiful park. This really was a highlight of a 48-hour trip, and one of the few things we would do again!

Excellent experience! So much fun. Great history and narration about the city and central park from our guide. And Sherman the horse was too cute. Loved the stops for photos. Great way to see a lot of the park and for a decent price.

My husband and I shared our first year anniversary in NYC! We were so excited for our carriage ride that we booked months in advance. Robert and Venus were the absolute best experience we could have asked for! They were fun informational and you could just tell how well Venus was taken care of, and how much Robert cared for his horse and passengers. We are so excited to come again and see them next time!

This is the best way to see Central Park. Josh and his horse, Winter, took us around the park for an hour ride. Josh was a great tour guide. He knows his stuff. He stopped at several places throughout the park to let us take pictures. Winter was very calm the whole time, even when we left the trail in the park and were on the busy roads of New York. Thank you, Josh and Winter, for making our first trip to Central Park memorable. We had a blast!

10/10 couldn’t recommend this company enough. Our guide was engaging and knowledgeable about the park and highlighted many spots we would’ve missed otherwise. We had stroller and they were able to lock it to fence where we were picked up for carriage ride for no extra fee. Amazing experience. We went with two kids under 2 and they both enjoyed it!

Recently while visiting the museum near Central Park my wife spotted the horse drawn carriages and said that ever since she was a little girl she had always wanted to ride in a carriage. Being the epic husband I am a booking was made immediately and the following day Dennis the horse and his human friend took us on a fabulous ride through the park. Hearing some really interesting facts about Central Park and seeing squirrels scurrying about made the ride all the more enjoyable. Woooooow... Booked my Long tour ride , before I took my flight here... and Robert took me above and beyond. Gentlemen and scholar, my guy took us around showed all the historical information about the Park. The history of this company made me wanna ride, but the driver made the night. ROBERT FOR THE WIN. AURORA THE HORSE WAS DOLL AND NOT HARMED AT ALL. WE EVEN FEED HER BEFORE AND AFTERWARDS WE PET AND TALKED TO HER. WELL CARED FOR. No I wasn't told to post this.
