With the many horse carriage companies around the same area of Central Park, we did not regret choosing NYC Horse Carriage Rides. They are a longstanding and trusted company. We booked the 45 minute Grand Tour. Our horse was Mr. Cooper and the lovely driver Medit (sp?). He was informative and made just the right amount of conversation and pointed out all the movie/important parts of the park to note. We appreciated the facts he shared about the park and he took great photos of us! Highly recommend this company.

We had a wonderful time on our carriage ride. Handsome Jack was a sweeet boy and our guide was very knowledgeable about Central Park and showed us lots of cool stuff around the park. He was full of interesting facts about movies and other things that have happened at the park.

Our carriage driver was amazing! She was kind and knowledgeable. We learned so much about Central Park and New York in this short 45 minute ride. Our horse, Billy, was friendly and we even got to feed him carrots. We arrived early and had no problems finding our driver. This is a beautiful way to experience Central Park and find some great places to visit after the ride. Highly recommend.

Loved the knowledge of our driver and listening to interesting facts about the city. Loved our horse Bill - he has a fun personality. We accidentally booked 2 carriages for a party of 2 and they cancelled the other carriage on spot and promptly refunded our money.

Amazing experience! Henry was our driver and was so kind, knowledgeable, funny, and sent us home with the most incredible photos of our carriage ride through Central Park! Highly recommend this company over any of the others. Their communication leading up to our ride was also over the top and very helpful. All 4 in our NYC group said this was one of their favorite activities of our trip! Worth every penny.

I treated my 16 yr old daughter to her first NYC visit and NYC Horse Carriage Rides is my favorite way to see Central Park — esp in winter. Liz and her trainee Elias were great, as well as the beautiful horse, Ella that drove us through the park. Liz was knowledgeable and friendly and was awesome. She answered questions we had and was eager to give us 4 sisters a great NYC experience. We had a blast and would do it again in the summer if/when we come back!

This is the third time we have used NYC Carriage Rides and I must say they have always been amazing. This time we had the lovely Mary pulling our carriage. She was a beautiful horse in really fabulous condition. She had a bucket of food between each ride and was really gentle. Our ride around Central Park was amazing. Really sorry but with all the chatting we were doing with our driver we forgot his name. He pointed out many iconic landmarks and made our ride very enjoyable. We will definitely book again when we return to NYC.
