The 1st year, we bought a pork share. The 2nd year, pork and beef shares, plus tried their whole chicken. Now we wouldn't buy our pork, beef, whole chickens and Thanksgiving turkey anywhere else! The care taken in the way the animals are raised and fed makes the taste and texture of the meat far superior to anything you'll find in a store. Local and sustainable meats that can't be beat!

We recently purchased a 1/8 share of beef from Hungry Hollow Farm. We cooked a roast for a family gathering and received rave reviews! It was absolutely delicious! Tonight we are going to BBQ hamburgers which I anticipate will be also be excellent.
I highly recommend purchasing beef from this farm when it becomes available to preorder. I know we will!

Hungry Hollow Farm offers the absolute best chicken, beef, pork, eggs, honey, vegetables, even salmon and bread.
We especially love their pasture-raised chicken and have been buying it for the last 3–4 years. The chicken bone broth we make from it is the most flavorful broth you will ever taste. Last year we bought 50 chickens and barely made it through the winter, so this year we upped it to 60. That is how much we love their chicken!
We have honestly become chicken snobs, and we completely blame our amazing farmers Grant and Lindsay for that!
We have also bought their beef and pork shares, and everything is top quality. We now have 4 freezers in the house just to make sure all of our meat comes from them. We are so grateful for Hungry Hollow Farm for raising our food!

Our first pick up of our chickens share today and already we love this generational farm and their wonderful food system where their animals live on lush pastures and are treated and cared for the way nature intended. Our family (2 adults, 4 elementary aged kids) had a wonderful time touring Hungry Hallow Farm. We learned so much about how the farmers are caring for the animals and the land. Farmer Grant answered all of our questions and our kids loved interacting with the animals. I felt good knowing my kids understand a bit more about where food can come from when we choose to purchase form small farms like this one. At the end of the tour we picked up eggs, beef, bread, and cookies! All of which left us saying “this is so good!!!!” The egg shells are thick and the eggs are so insanely delicious. It’s amazing how different they are from what I buy at the store. We look forward to purchasing more from the farm in the future! Thank you for the tour and thank you for the insightful blog as well!

Chickens, Pork, Eggs and Beef. I always make sure my fridge is full of Hungry Hollow Farm's meat. I like what they do for the environment, Love how the meat tastes so good, and I love that it is so good for me. I keep the bones in all these healthy animals just to make broth out of it.

We are so lucky and grateful to know Farmer Grant and his farm! We have ordered over the last three years pork and beef shares, turkey, eggs and vegetables. This is how animals should be raised and meat should taste, like we had from the butcher shops and corner stores when we were kids. It took me quite a long time to find a great, local farm that raises grass-fed and pasture-raised meat but I'm so glad I finally found them. Everything is packaged well, it is so easy to buy through the website, and the quality is amazing. The home delivery option is crucial, and I have had a perfect experience every single time I've ordered. I've ordered whole chickens along with beef/pork shares and everything has been delicious. I moved to Washington about a year ago and was looking for a better sustainable meat option. In my search I found Hungry Hollow Farm and I’m so happy I did! I buy whole chickens and their beef shares and you can really taste the difference. Grant is so friendly and is fast with his email responses. I live about an hour or so from the farm so when I saw they offer a delivery option, it was a no brainer!

We’ve ordered whole chickens, beef and pork shares, and other individual items from Hungry Hollow over the last year . We couldn’t be happier with the flavor, quality and variety of cuts. We love supporting local farmers and Hungry Hollow is very convenient to our home and their pick-up at the farm couldn’t be easier! They have your order bagged up in a reusable insulated bag in one of their freezers and you just drive up on the scheduled pick up date and grab your order! Grant and family have been just lovely when we’ve picked up our orders. We were driving to Olympia to purchase meat at the farmers market, but enjoy a shorter drive for great quality pasture raised meat from Hungry Hollow. I can’t recommend them enough! Local farmers that take great care of their land and animals, which support our health and nutrition, are so deserving of our support!
