Hello my name is Simon C and I started surfing this year. I have a lot of board sports background but never surfing and it has been a steep learning curve. I was actively looking for a local surf coach to help me but wasn't feeling that confident in the people I met. Then I found OMBE on youtube. I watched a number of videos and they were really helpful. I then checked out their website a few times and after a month or so I actually signed up. At first I wasn't really sure if online learning was going to translate well to real life surfing and what I found was I couldn't have been more wrong. I actually wish I had found this months back when I first started. It would have made my progression way faster and my fun levels higher. The way Clayton teaches is so different from everyone else iv seen and along with Ant the two of them are entertaining and informative. I have learnt so much in just one week and it has changed my surfing drastically. Over time I can see this will improve way more. The cost of the access to this wealth of knowledge and also access to the community is peanuts compared to the cost of getting an instructor in person. Plus I feel the quality of teaching is way higher than I have seen elsewhere also. There is so much that comes with this website subscription that I would be typing here for ages if I listed it all. To summarize though, if you want to improve your surfing then I haven't found a better place than OMBE. Super stoked I found it. Thanks guys
