I’m just going to be as real as I possibly can.
I recently visited Trek Bikes, and I have to say that it was an incredible experience—one that I will never forget. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt an overwhelming sense of care and attention from every employee I encountered. I appreciate seeing diverse identities in bike spaces. It means something important to me. Trek has that!
But what’s also important is that I am cared for, I feel important, and that I don’t have sales people shoving products in my ear every 2 seconds, or upselling me.
Their knowledge of bikes is, of course, top-tier, but what truly sets them apart is their genuine care for their customers. I never felt like "just another customer." Instead, I felt like they were invested in making sure I found something that fit me perfectly—whether it was the right model, the right fit, or the best features for my riding style. Not to mention they kinda gave me a bike fitting without the cost before I picked up my bike, thats pretty amazing service.
When I needed advice, they offered their expertise in a way that was thoughtful and patient, answering all my questions (and there were a lot!). Trek Vaughan put the ball in my court and cared about the choices and thinking I had around certain products and ideas.
It wasn’t just about selling a bike; it was about making sure I was comfortable and confident in my choice. Every interaction left me feeling taken care of, from ensuring that my bike was properly fitted to offering ongoing support after my purchase. Most importantly they were patient as hell. I wasn’t able to pick my bike up right away because I didn’t want some family members find out, they were totally cool about it. They kept my secret safe. Hah :) especially because this was a very very significant purchase, maybe the largest of my life. thanks yall.
Their warmth and enthusiasm, free water and coffee, and family like atmosphere made the whole process more than just a transaction; it became an experience of trust and community. I
Now whenever I drop by the shop, the right heads know me by face and greet me with love and care. Thats the best feeling.
I am deeply grateful to the amazing staff who went above and beyond. It’s clear that they truly love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat their customers. Thank you, Trek, for the outstanding service and for genuinely caring about me as a person!
Honestly I may want to work there some day. It’s that good.
