Thanks a lot, Sam and Gill, for repairing of my tooth. It was my second visit this Dental practice and I stood glad. Usually, I am afraid a bit of dentist doctors but Sam and Gill were so friendly, kindly and positive that I felt just calm and relaxed. I had some problem with my tooth and they fix it without any problem and very professionally. Now my tooth looks like new. I hope this feeling on my tooth will work for a long time. Also, Sam and Gill helped with another tooth, which too much sensitive, and use special liquid to cover it. I'm glad that I ended up in the hands of such wonderful and caring doctors!! I wish them all the best and a lot of good clients!!

I had my routine check up scale and polish today with Sam and dental assistant Caroline. Caroline immediately put me at ease and continued to do so whilst Sam was working. Sam was very meticulous in checking and cleaning my teeth so much so that I left the practice feeling as if my mouth had had a spring clean.

I have just attended an appointment at your practice with the hygienist “Samantha and Caroline”. They both welcomed me and explained exactly what I would be experiencing during my visit. I felt so relaxed and in safe hands. All went smoothly and at the end I was advised as to what I should do to maintain my healthy teeth which I found very informative. I already look forward to my next visit. The staff in this practice are all very friendly.

I’ve had a number of dentists over the years, but none as good as Durham Family Dental. Case in point: I found out today, in my mid-forties, that I’ve been brushing my teeth wrong for years. They taught me the proper technique for electric brushing and flossing. Never too late to learn. I would definitely recommend them. Laura and Gill make it a whole different dental experience from my previous NHS dentist!
Their empathetic approach is very apparent, I felt relaxed and totally at ease in their hands. I had gone for a filling but have more work to be done to replace old dental work. All options of further treatment was a discussion with me rather than being told what needed to happen. I felt Laura listened carefully to my concerns about my teeth and has put together a treatment plan that I am more than happy with.
My travel time is 40mins compared to 10mins with my previous NHS dentist. I am more than happy to travel for the excellent service and positive environment and energy they have. I would highly recommend these Ladies to be in charge of your teeth!
