The course took me from merely knowing that the Grease Pencil is a 2D drawing tool to gaining a full understanding of its capabilities. The course is well-structured, and CG Boost, in general, has a great-looking website. However, as someone who is used to PBR materials and cycles as the primary render engine, switching to Eevee and using stylized shaders was a challenging adjustment for me. In the course, Kevin used a simple toon shader. While he explained its use well, I didn’t like the shader enough to want to use it in the future. So, I looked online and found a video where he covered three different toon shaders (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRALvQSS1vw), which I liked much more than the one introduced in the course. I would have appreciated more about stylized shaders in the course, similar to what was explained in the YouTube video, where he conveyed it really well. The Grease Pencil content was well-explained, and I also enjoyed the execution.
