I purchased a trek duel sport 3 today.
I have been looking about for about a month for a bike. I went to three local stores of various brands but received condescending service.
However Trek Ipswich gave me totally different service from the moment I first rang asking if they had one of these bikes. Hearing the man who answered at the very end of the day, probably when he was about to head home, run upstairs and say one was in a box and he’d put it together ASAP for me to look at gave me a good vibe right away.
The money whilst not top price was not insignificant but I was pleased that the staff looked beyond the tattooed fat guy and spoke to me like a person trying to make some life changes. All staff were respectful, helpful and nothing was deemed a silly question or was too much trouble. I was not given the impression that I was wasting anyone’s time. That positive attitude attitude and absence of intimidation is quite important to me.
I should not have to say thanks and good work but more and more these days one is surprised when good service is given - you’d think it easy but apparently it isn’t.
So, “Thanks and good work”.
