I have been a tenant for almost 2 years and have waited to write a review because I wanted to see a real track record.
They have been professional and responsive so far, and this terrible ice storm has really proved their commitment to their tenants and their owners.
When our power finally came back on but our furnace didn’t, they had someone come right away when I called. When that person couldn’t solve it, they immediately scheduled an HVAC company. I even got a follow up call to check that everything was OK. When I expected to leave a message and wait a day or two for a return call, I got an actual human person on the line instead. I felt seen, heard, respected, and cared about.
I have been a long-term renter three times, 10 years in Bend, 16 years in this neighborhood and now, two years here and planning to stay for the duration. I have also been an owner of six homes in five different states for total of 32 years. I know housing from both sides. I have always rented directly from the owner and it has worked well until the last owners divorced, and the one who got the property knew nothing about being a landlord. That’s when I decided I wanted professionals.
Darla Andrews, RPH sets high standards for both owners and tenants, and she works collaboratively with both to keep everyone happy. Promises have been kept. It feels like genuine teamwork, not a mere business transaction.
