Within 30 minutes from receiving my diagnosis, I received a call from Amanda, RN at Minnesota Oncology. I immediately felt the compassion and care that I would be given. Jamie was my next contact and echoed Amanda in her compassion. She reached out and scheduled my initial appointment with Dr. Witt. I had butterflies walking into this appointment, with all my concerns and fear of the unknown. Dr. Witt entered the room, and all that fear left the room. You leave knowing you are surrounded by the best medical team anyone could hope for. They genuinely care above and beyond and make themselves available. While my journey has just begun, and I am still testing to determine treatment , everyone from surgeons to oncologist are in place and ready to get me through this. And that is a direct result of this compassionate, caring team, Amanda, Jamie, and Dr. Witt! I look forward to laughing with you all, and making a terrifying situation a positive experience! I am blessed to be a part of this team!

Dr. Witt and her staff (Amanda) are beyond fantastic. They are caring, compassionate, communicative and thorough. I have heard several stories where "you need to be your own advocate" but with Dr. Witt and Amanda, they made it clear that they are your advocates and you will never be left wondering if things are being looked at, scheduled or follow-up on - they are doing it all on your behalf. I did not want this diagnosis, but I got blessed with this amazing team to help me through it.

Dr. Witt is both one of the very best surgeons I've ever met, and one of the very best people I've ever met. It's unfortunate that she can not take care of every breast cancer patient, but since she obviously cannot, I'm glad she is taking care of my wife.
