The process was different than the first time we bought a house. I would not do all the paperwork electronically again, it was difficult to keep track of. Mortgage Market Place and ResiCentral took great care of us and kept our lower interest rate locked in while we were selling our home, even as interest rates rose all around us.

We worked with “Money Mike” to purchase our home in Portland. I can’t say enough good things about him! He worked tirelessly to ensure we had all the information we needed before putting in offers, he got us the absolute best rate (the title company employee at our closing even commented on how low our rate was), and was a true professional throughout the process. We “shopped” a bit and worked with a recommended mortgage person through our realtor, had a terrible experience with them, and switched back to Mike. We will be working with Mike and Mortgage Marketplace for any future real estate transactions, and recommend him to anybody who asks us!
