I found Carlo/Talon Home Inspections using Thumbtack, an online resource for finding experienced professionals. He was great to call me and work to fit me in as best as he could. When he completed the review of the property, he was EXTREMELY thorough! He did a fantastic job, and I would definitely recommend him. His price was very affordable, too, which is the biggest reason why I chose him initially. His report is very well written, and every item is documented regardless of whether it's a critical item or not so that I can be informed prior to purchase. I am so very appreciative of the effort Carlo put into talking with me and inspecting the property that I'm interested in purchasing.

Talon Home Inspection is definitely the best I've seen. I called last minute for a home inspection, and Carlo set up an inspection for the next business day. He is the most thorough and detailed inspector I have ever seen, for a very reasonable price. He did a comprehensive inspection and complete walk through with me after it was over. His reports are incredibly detailed full with complete description and awesome pictures. Such a nice, personable guy with a great attitude. His inspection made me and my family very comfortable and familiar with the new house that we bought. He puts the consumer first. I can't wait to buy another home so I can use him again

This review is based on experiences using Carlo (Owner of Talon Home Inspections) for his home inspection services in the process of purchasing a new property. Communication leading up to the inspection was great, I received all the necessary documentation prior to the inspection and he sent out a courtesy email the day prior as a reminder and confirmation. He arrived at the house promptly to start the inspection. Carlo is a perfectionist, he takes this role seriously and you can tell he is passionate about his work. He was extremely thorough and he was going to be at the property for ‘as long as it takes’ to do the job properly. The digital report (which arrived promptly within 24 hours) was very clear and had high quality pictures and even video! It itemized the key issues and recommendations which we had also gone through in the house leaving us with absolutely no unanswered questions and very clear next steps for the process of purchasing the home. I thought it would be interesting to provide the reason I actually used Carlo was because he actually performed the inspection for the buyer when I was selling my house and was extremely thorough, leaving no stone unturned! I believe that this approach left the buyers with a full understanding of the home they were purchasing. I have used other home inspectors in the Lexington area and no one can compare to the level of service that Carlo offers.
