We needed help to fix a bike I got as Christmas present. Of course, being amateurs we didn't do a good job at assembly so decided to visit the professionals. They were a little busy but helped us out within 1.5hour. We used that time to do a walking historical tour of Summit and do a little window shopping. I also ended up getting the cool cat bell for my bike!

Trek Bike Store Summit NJ - A Journey from Frustration to Triumph I recently purchased a bike from the Trek Bike Store in Summit, and the experience was nothing short of a rollercoaster. It all began with the outstanding service provided by a salesman named Michael. From the moment I walked in, Michael’s support, expertise, and willingness to share his experiences shone through. He didn’t just sell me a bike—he extended his knowledge and offered invaluable advice for my upcoming Olympic triathlon, ensuring I had everything I needed to succeed. However, after the sale, I encountered some issues with the bike that made me question my purchase. With the race looming, the repeated attempts to fix the problem were both frustrating and disheartening, leaving me panicked. Just as I was beginning to lose faith in the experience, Corporate stepped in and connected me with the Service Manager, Rick Milkowski. Rick was nothing short of a game-changer. Upon evaluating the bike, he discovered that it had been shipped with damaged gear cables—a significant oversight. But Rick didn’t just fix the problem; he went above and beyond by exchanging the bike for a brand-new one. His commitment to customer satisfaction was truly unparalleled. Rick worked extra hours to ensure I was comfortable with the outcome, and his dedication to upholding the high standards of the Trek brand was evident in every interaction. Thanks to the combined efforts of Michael, Rick, and the rest of the team, I was able to complete my training and achieve an exceptional performance in my triathlon. The entire staff, including Ross and another younger employee whose name I unfortunately can't recall (maybe Lucas), demonstrated a level of care and integrity that left a lasting impression. In stark contrast, my experience at a competing bike store in the same town was completely different. The staff there made me feel unwelcome and dismissed my needs as if I wasn’t worth their time. This only deepened my appreciation for the Trek team. The welcoming atmosphere at both the Summit and Stirling, NJ locations made me feel like part of the Trek family. I can’t recommend the Trek Bike Store in Summit enough. The team transformed what could have been a disappointing experience into one of the best customer service encounters I've ever had. They’ve earned a lifelong customer, and I’ll be doing all my future bike business with Trek. A heartfelt thank you to Michael, Ross, Rick, and the entire team for their unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Your dedication to representing the Trek brand with pride and care is truly commendable. P.S.
