I had a great experience shopping around for a new bike recently. Mitchell spent the time time asking lots of relevant questions to help me determine exactly what type of bike /wheels /etc would suit me best. I am thrilled with my purchase and really appreciated his genuine desire to help (which did not occur in many of the other bike shops I visited prior to this).

Highly knowledgeable staff who are so clearly enthusiastic about all disciplines of cycling, you can go for the shop but you'll probably stay for the chat. My only gripe is the limited product range, but for quality and servicing they're a very good shop.

Bought tubeless tyres for my fixie (racer). Bit pricey but great customer service. Pop in on the regular to pump the tyres up & the boys working there are happy for me to do so. Recommend for sure

My bike went in for a service, I explained what I was expecting, on the return my bikes tyres where flat, bike seat up and unlocked and adjusted, surfboard rack loose, rusty bolts I asked to be replaced. Wow the list could continue, but $235 for a bike service, when I said I wanted to get it all sorted. It was disappointing.

Called up to ask for advice as to what to get for a rear campy conversion. They told me to bring in the wheel. First off, straight up condescending attitude- for the third time from this ‘head mechanic’. The guy found out what I needed and wanted to charge me $150 for something that is worth $80. He would not budge on price. After trying to pressure me to buy, I declined then proceeded to cop abuse for wanting to go else where saying I wasted his time (a total of 5 mins). All of this in front of the stores owner and other workers. Mate, relax this is not how you treat customers. And now you wont have my business ever again.

The rudest staff I’ve ever come across. When we came in we were not greeted at all. All 3 members of staff actually turned and looked at us, made eye contact and totally ignored our presence. There was no offer for help or any kind of guidance whatsoever. We sat out the front briefly waiting for the rain to stop and deciding if we wanted to buy 2 of the Electra’s until we were approached by a member of staff and shooed away like rats and asked “how are paying customers supposed to get in if you’re sitting here?” Considering the fact that we were probably about to be paying customers I think a little kindness, patience and basic customer service skills would’ve gone a long way.

can not recommend this shop. came in for reattaching the jockey wheel on a cheap bike, it took them a week to find out they could not replace it cheaply and wanted me to pay 70$ for actually just a screw - until they disposed the perfectly fine wheel and tried to tell me the derailer was damaged. Went to Spearman bycicles, they helped out for 15 $ and a few minutes later it was done.
