Extremely rude and condescending.
I spoke directly with the man in the repairs section of the store. I needed a flat fixed, and it turned out there were several other problems with the bike as well.
I appreciated being informed about the severity of some of the issues, but the way it was communicated came across very judgmental and curt.
It isn't even that I was opposed to the repairs, but the way he communicated it felt like he genuinely didn't want to do business with me, as if I was beneath him for letting my bike be in such disrepair.
I went to another, smaller, bike shop nearby, and they identified (and are now addressing) the same issues. The difference is they treated me like a human being, with basic dignity and respect.
